I could always use a different email and user name at hwbot....

But seems major lack of interest from public parties.

Yeah I am boring.

Benching my hardware has become boring.

I need new hardware :D
 
For what it's worth, I made a tutorial video on how to submit scores to Hwbot for Extremehw, I will post it here. It covers benchmate, submissions without benchmate, submitting 3Dmark submissions with a validation link, and submitting Unigine Superposition scores with a validation link.

 
I have been with Shrimp and Scotty, and Bones for a long time now, I am ok where I am for now :oops:

But I can play here for fun :)
 
Update: This is where we're at. I have been talking it over with W1zzard, ir_cow, and Leeg from HWBOT.

W1zzard is going to be our captain, and ir_cow and I will co-captain and get this team rolling, at least for the mean time until someone in the future wants to step up.

As soon as Leeg gave me captain status this morning I got inundated with 12 pages of bad submission reports. Obviously a lot of them are old, but that's pretty much the main responsibility of a team captain to help make sure submissions are right.

We're still hashing out the details, but we're going to start an official thread soon. I know a bunch of you old timers might not switch to the team permanently but you can still help now and then :D

Submitting scores for some of the categories is super easy with benchmate. Its my go-to because I am lazy and don't care about saving 0.000001 ns by not using it.

Only need bitchmate for Windows 8 and up. Everything else, you don't use it.

Obviously, not elite and serious, benchmate is great for quick modern submissions.

Otherwise, will wreck your scores on old hardware.

If you guys (staff of tpu) make a private benching section, is it possible I could participate? @ir_cow @freeagent
 
I am happy to submit scores. At one point I had done as many as I could do I think. I'm definitely a hwbot noob though

The submission forms just take a little practice, but the real challenge is beating your best score, then the other guys best score :)
 
Yessir, in the end you are your own worst enemy lol

I have a one or two that I fluked and I cannot beat.. grrr :laugh:

Edit:

I do have a new B550 board coming, so at least I can do better with memory stuff, this Dark Hero is like a Dank Zero in that dept.

Damn, I would switch to TPU's team, but it seems impossible. I gave up once before, and I want to again.

I can log into my HWbot account just fine. I go to my profile. I see it says to switch teams, go to the forum. I go to the forum, but I am not logged in there for some reason. I try to create a topic using my email address, but it says a member already has that email address. It asks me if I want to log in? Login fails. It asks me if I want to reset my password. The account doesn't exist.

Does everyone with a damn HWbot forum account just use a different email address, a different account name, and just have to constantly explain their real account name? What is so wrong with their website? I can't even contact them without being able to log into their dumb broken forum.

Help?!

HWBot.org (where you make actual submissions) uses your User Name and password. The Email account Or user name is used to log into the forums, but the password can differ because they are two separate entities.

Their damn contact form is broken too. Are they serious?

It seems their hwbot forum email server is just simply broken and makes it impossible to create, verify, or recover accounts.

I'm not a discord fan myself and also not young either. But I wanted to give you something to work with.

The entire thing is "under construction" at this time, but I feel the forum and hwbot log in stuff has been screwed up for a long time.

Plenty of issues to vent about, but I try not to do it in public. So that's all I have to give for now. Sorry for that. Please let it be known, I don't advocate hwbot, I advocate overclocking and benchmarking.
