[Test Build] Fix for installation not working with Nv App

works but eac does not work with apex legends, its says something not verified disk or something, i tried this with 566.45

and if you install the driver without nvcleanstall it works fine?

when I ran watch dogs 2 on 566.36 I didn't get the error....now I'm on the hotfix driver 566.45 and I get the error ( didn't notice if it happened right after I installed the new driver). another issue I've noticed is that Ansel is installed despite unchecking it in NVCleanstall.

to confirm whether the problem is with nvcleanstall or the nv driver itself we need A/B testing: driver installed with nvcleanstall vs original nv driver installed

and maybe 566.36 vs 566.45......I'll test it right away


edit: I don't know why the following just wouldn't get posted on a separate post, but oh well........

So I tested 3 scenarios and these are the findings:

EasyAntiCheat (EAC) error
- Nvidia Stock driver 566.45 > no error
- nvcleanstall + 566.45 > EAC error
- nvcleanstall + 566.36 > no error

so it seems the error is only produced when using nvcleanstall with hotfix driver 566.45


Ansel
- nvcleanstall (ansel disabled in options)+ 566.45 > Ansel is Active
- nvcleanstall (ansel disabled in options) + 566.36 > Ansel is Active

Work for me 1.7.2 with 551.86

after installing driver nvcleanstall 1.16 / 1.17 any version = cpu usage constantly jumps 9-28% 9-50 9-60% cpu according to driver version 551.86

These changes are included in 1.18 now (plus NvCPL and FrameView recommended as packages with NvApp, for game profiles and overlay)
