@ratirt you have GodFall. Maybe I will also pick it if you think it is fun game.
I really like this game so damn much and it looks outstanding. I really wanna see the FSR on this one just to see how good it is. As for the game itself it is really entertaining.
I sometimes just launch any stage and run and kill mobs and practice my fighting techniques :D

For now I got 2, this wasn't the plan so it kinda sucks because I could more use the money then 2 GPU's :kookoo:
If you don't need two GPUs, you can sell one on eBay. :D
At the moment, I think the market is good for used GPUs.

I sold my Radeon VII in December to get 6800XT.
I was blown away that people raised the price from starting point of 350€ to 700€ in the last few minutes before betting ended.
The card was 1.5years old and originally I paid 800€ for it and got back 700€. :kookoo:

I don't sell on ebay because if I go outside my country shipping is like 100USD if not more and no one want to pay that I think.

But yeah it's crazy times right now.

I sold in past many old computer stuff on eBay but I specify usually that I am shipping and selling the item only in Germany.

Yes eBay works quite well over here to get rid of old computer stuff and at the same time earn some money to invest into new hardware. :D
Currently old GPUs has nice second hand market so you will be able to sell your old one.

I am going to sell now a GTX 1070Ti.
I got for my son 6800XT for good price and will sell his 1070Ti.
I was looking and the used 1070Ti goes for 350€ on eBay. :kookoo:
I bought it new 3 years ago for 400€. :D Crazy how the prices has gone up. :twitch:
People are betting quite high prices just to get a GPU.

I just completed downloading Godfall, and have just installed Adrenalin 21.6.1, but it's kinda late here (about 2am), so I'm gonna hit the sack and try out Godfall later. Will also install the game in my other two rigs and see how they do as well.

Couple of reviewers said that FSR does not need a specific driver, should work with any driver since its implemented in the game engine, so I am curios, what does the new driver do for FSR?

I ran Time Spy with the latest 21.6.1 driver with my 6900XTU Liquid Devil Ultimate.
Here is the result. :D
This is place 10 sort towards the graphics scores of 6900XT cards on 3Dmark website. :D

1624390752226.png

The setting is 2750MHz@1175mV. See the screenshot at the end of post for details.
It is the same setting that I have been using since long time and is really stable in every game.

1624390462056.png

One thing is that I tried today for the first time to OC also the VRAM.
It does not seem that the GPU likes memory OC when the GPU core is OCed that high.
If I OC even 50MHz on memory (Fast Timing) with GPU OCed to 2750MHz, the Time Spy does not complete a full run. It stops near to the end of GP2 test. :(

If I set the GPU clock to default and then do auto OC only on VRAM, I can go to 2180MHz, but when GPU Core is OCed at 2750MHz then even 2050MHz on VRAM did not work .
Seems like my card does not like memory OC in addition to Core OC :(, but still I am very satisfied with the Performance. :D

I also seem to get a nice performance boost overall with driver 21.6.1, tested CP2077, +7FPS (+9%) and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, +6 FPS (+6%), in SOTR there is a 17% improvement from the first launch driver to todays driver for me , very very nice :D

I need also to run AC Valhalla and Borderlands 3 benchmarks to see the increase compared to my old results. :D

That is what we call AMD fine wine approach.

It will be great if one of reviewers do update on the reviews to see how has the RDNA2 and RTX series gained performance compared to each other since launch with driver improvements over time. :D

To be honest I am also positively surprised after reading the review from W1zzard. :D
I was not expecting this, especially after the rumors that were spreading since many weeks claiming this will be a total disaster for AMD.

I am thinking of buying GodFall and test it.
Seems like a fun game.

The funny part is that even older generations of Nvidia GPUs are also supported so they can also get this free FPS boost thanks to AMD.
It would be nice if Nvidia returns the favor and also releases something like DLSS where we AMD GPU owners can benefit but maybe I am just dreaming.

You can try RiftBreaker Demo for free.
Thanks for the hint.

Doing that, I am really curios to see FSR with my own eyes, YouTube video is by itself compressed and does not give a clear picture. Lets see :)

Nvidia releasing DLSS for the masses? Nope, for 3 reasons, first being that if DLSS works on normal GPU's, that would be an admission of lying about Turing and Ampere having specialized cores for DLSS, they can not do that :D, and second would be that they have no more incentive for pushing tensor cores, so new series of Gpu's , and third, they would loose marketing power, no more "only our new shit is the best that can run DLSS on hardware"

I really don't care about DLSS, I care more for an industry open standard that can help the whole industry move forward and bring improvements across the board. And for that matter, I don't really care about FSR that much either, I am just curios to see how it works, prefer native resolution over any fancy upscaling gimmick all day long :D

I agree.
I will also prefer native resolution as long as my GPU does not run into trouble for example on 4k with Raytracing enabled.

With my current 2k monitor I am actually worried from going above the 165Hz FreeSync range in some games with heavily Oced 6900XTU.

You can try RiftBreaker Demo for free.
Ok, so tried the RiftBreaker Demo, I am rather positively impressed, at 3440x1440 native vs FSR Ultra, the fine details are almost all there, the difference I can perceive is the tone of the image, the FSR-ed image is a very tiny bit softer overall, but you sort of have to look closely to see the difference. I also perceive the static image as a bit better than an image in motion in this game. Performance mode is crap, very smeary, but double the FPS

This game does not seem too sharp even at native, I would be even more curious about FSR in a game with super high rez textures and lots of very intricate details. For Riftbreaker, if you need the extra FPS, FSR is perfect, at least on Ultra and to a lesser degree on Quality.

After seeing FSR in Riftbreaker, I can say only one thing, Cyberpunk needs this tech so very bad on AMD 6000 gpu's, I would have 0 issues turning on FSR Ultra or Quality with RT in Cyberpunk :)

And btw, RiftBreaker seems a nice game, I might give it a shot when I will have some free time :)

I agree.
I will also prefer native resolution as long as my GPU does not run into trouble for example on 4k with Raytracing enabled.

With my current 2k monitor I am actually worried from going above the 165Hz FreeSync range in some games with heavily Oced 6900XTU.
Yeah, my biggest worry since I got the 6800XT is also going above my 100hz Freesync range at 3440x1440, this is the meaning of being spoiled :D

I have to agree as I also wrote in FSR review forum, it would be great if CD Project Red will support FSR.
It would be useful with Raytracing enabled.

Interesting that you had Radeon R9 FURY.
I owned this card before I went over the years: Vega 64-->Radeon VII--> XFX reference 6800XT-->PowerColor 6900XTU Liquid Devil Ultimate.

Do you own Red Devil 6800XT or 6900XT?
The both look the same. :D

I had two Fury X's in CrossFire (Yes I know, I'm laughing on the inside as well). To answer your question, its the 6900XT. Next generation, I will hold out for the top of the line AIO Super Special Turbo Elite Edition too! I do normally, but this shortage had me freaking out. Once I saw this card for $1400, I jumped on it before prices hit astronomical prices.

Thanks bro. I thought my little CPU-Z link would do the trick. LoL Ok I'll do the non-lazy version later. :):):)

1400$ is a great price for 6900XT Red Devil. :D
Currently they cost about 300 more than that here in Germany.

Fury X was nice at that time. I sold it for good price when Vega 64 came.

I was satisfied actually with my 6800XT which I had water-cooled and it was Oc monster running at 2750MHz@1020mV but unfortunately it got damaged with ESD issue and I got money back for that and then I went for 6900XTU.
