Your CPU results are amazing. 16011 compared to my 12646.
You have also 5900X like me.
Are you doing manual OC or that is only Curve Optimization?
I'm using CTR 2.1.

I'm using CTR 2.1.
I tried the CTR 2.1 some time ago.
Somehow the setting that it provided for my 5900X were never stable.
I got crash as soon as I started Cinebench benchmark after applying these settings. :(
I did not try manually to tune the CTR setting but went afterwards and started using Curve Optimizer.

I used CTR 2.0 on 5800X before without issues.

There is also Dynamic OC Switcher available on my ASUS Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. It does something similar to CTR.
I have not tested that until now.
I guess I need to learn a little about that to get more performance. :D

The offset between min and max frequency is used so that GPU is forced to not go to idle mode for small fractions of time during gaming and benchmarks.
Many have issues with non ideal performance when min frequency is left at 500MHz.
Buildzoid showed in his youtube channel that the boost algorithms causes for short miliseconds time GPU to go to low power mode even when you have load on it. This behavior is mitigated by increasing the min frequency to range 100-200MHz below max frequency.
The range of 200MHz is kind of sample dependent.Tighter is helpful for performance but not many 6900XT run stable for example for 100MHz difference.
On my 6800XT before I had it 100MHz but on my Liquid Devil it is not stable below 200MHz offset.

Regarding undervolt, I wish you luck. The 6900XT's don't like that much undervolt.
I could undervolt my 6800XT to 950mV but my Liquid Devil does not like voltages below 1100mV even when I don't OC it and run it on default frequency.
Ah, that sounds sensible. I briefly tried some quick UV attempts two days ago, but left the min frequency at 500, and couldn't really get anything at all stable. I'll have to play around with it a bit - the LDU does start at some pretty high stock clocks (500/2614, 1200mV is what Manual OC in wattman gives me, at least), so I can understand that it takes some underclocking to reduce the voltage noticeably. I tried the auto UV option in wattman, which resulted in 1175mV, which ... well, that's not very impressive :p Still, playing on a 1440p60 monitor for now (or my secondary 1080p75 one if 60Hz gets on my nerves) means I can safely sacrifice some performance without noticing. We'll see if I have to start adding radiators once I upgrade my main monitor :p I don't have any hard goals, but if I can get it down to 250W while maintaining 2.2-2.3GHz I'd be happy with that. Who knows, maybe I'll go for an extreme UV/downclock profile and see just how efficient I can make it :)

I just need 77 more points. :D

View attachment 209245
Wow, that's close - 0.00355% behind! Makes me wonderr if 77 points could be within run-to-run variance? Unless your current result is a peak among many runs, of course. Which I guess it might be, at that.

The default values that CTR 2.1 gives are unreliable. You still have to tweak them. But once you get the right voltage and frequencies, it will pay off.

Hmm, in Firestrike Ultra I lag you graphics score by 446 points (14523 for me), maybe doable, let me see, in the mood to play some 3D mark :D

One thing I cant reach is your Time Spy Extreme Graphics score, that's way off for me for now

Also, what driver version are you using right now?

Update 1 --- ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY 6800XT's :peace:

@Butanding1987 , beat your Firestrike Ultra Graphics score by .... 18 points , the interesting part is that I needed a full core CPU OC to get to this score, else I was 50 points below constantly. Second, found out you can not go higher than 2700mhz on the minimum GPU clocks :wtf:

The sweet part is we have between the fastest 6800XTs on the planet, that's cool if you think about it

FSUltra no3a.jpg

Lets see now if I can get close to your TimeSpy scores, in Firestrike my 6800XT plays along great, less so in TimeSpy, but lets see

I topped that Fire Strike score a few hours hours ago (No. 2 now after ViKTOR) but I'm reluctant to post it because I think I can still improve it. :D
If I'm not mistaken, I now have the top graphics score (6800 XT across all CPUs) in Time Spy, Time Spy Extreme and Fire Strike. Still working on Fire Strike Extreme :D

PS. I’m using the latest driver.

I've managed to break the 23k level of Time Spy's graphics score. :D

Yup, congrats, you managed to get the top scores in almost any category for a 6800XT, the quality of the card counts, but so does the skill to push it that far :rockout:

I have a feeling I won't be king for long. :D
You wont get further competition from me at this point in time, running 380w through a reference 6800XT was a nail biting experience, though I am reasonable sure it could take 400w for short bursts

I am content in having the no.1 combo for overall score of a 6800XT and a 5800X in Time Spy Extreme and no.1 in Graphics score for this combo in Firestrike and Firestrike Ultra for now. Maybe next time.

Has been fun, and congrats on pushing that 6800XT of yours that high :)

Yes my 6900XT Liquid Devil also seem to be on it's limit.
It does not go higher in frequency than 2750MHz setting.
I am lucky that I was able to tune VRAM at all after raising the voltage to 1400mV. It did not OC without that mode at all.

I am stil looking at it maybe I have not found the real sweet spot.
If I find any further tricks to squeeze more performance out of the GPU of course I will share and tempt you both to push further.

There are some things for real daredevils. :D
Like hardware modes with Elmor EVC2SX to raise GPU voltage or soldering capacitors to clean out voltages which gives higher frequencies.

For me I think the real potential left is with 5900X and memory tuning. :D

I have not done there much until now except curve tuning a little but there also I did not spend the time to find the last % of performance like I did on GPU. It's been on my agenda for some time.

Are you sure that the RAM voltage changes are actually being applied? I am not 100% sure, though since raising the voltage you mentioned earlier, and thx for the info btw, I seem to be able to push memory to 2150mhz without loosing performance, so I am guessing it works. It was a long missing feature for OC-ing these cards, memory speed is holding this gen in check :)

That is a good question.
Looking at HWINFO I don't see it applied but after doing this, I could raise my VRAM frequency from 2000MHz to 2140MHz.
Without this mode I start getting score regression already at 2020MHz.

By the way, on the MPT in frequency tab there is also FCLK (Infinity Fabric Clock) setting.
Some people are experimenting with this to get more performance.
I did not try it.

Decided to re do thermal paste just to see if i used enough, it was fine, did add the missing thermal pad just to be sure even tho there was 2mm / 3 mm space, timespy still crashes producing no result at times seems especially worse with 21.7.1 had artifacting in doom eternal as well but 2 hour vram test found no errors at all, doom eternal had a patch recently to fix artifacting in some areas, while timespy has recently fixed a bug with something memory related, im not exactly happy with my 6900 XT wish i could trade it for rtx 3080 ti at this point or rtx 3090 with waterblock installed.

No games crash either except valheim in vulkan, amd drivers are very frustating, never had to DDU a single driver with nvidia in past, and if already experienced inconsistencies due drivers that magicly go away after DDU.

Anyone else have similar issues with timespy ?, it sometimes does 20 loops no problem then every 20 loops for like few times up to 80 can sometimes pass then it randomly starts crashing producing no result consistently every 5 or 10 loops.

don't worry.. it is pretty broken since day one with vulkan (not just with AMD Cards)

Still worried cos i had artifacts in doom eternal and timespy crashes producing no results it freaks me out, no amd driver experience at all wish i avoided it.

timespy crashes are common (for me) since day one (i have two 6900XTs)
my OC is stable in everything except some 3DMark Benchmarks.
sometimes i run a timespy stresstest for 20 minutes with zero issues, after that the benchmark crashes at the beginning of GT2.

only at stock everything works fine. (or undervolted)

Timespy has crashed at stock to maybe bit less common not sure but it was first thing i noticed in first month anyway if i am not alone with these issues then i am somewhat relieved.

I made my vram voltage higher (to 900mv/1400mv) and I found out that by giving the vram more voltage it somehow makes me have a higher core clock.

That aside is there anything I can do in this part of mpt? Thanks.

Timespy is not very friendly with OC, at stock or mild its fine, but at a more aggressive OC (that runs smooth as butter in Firestrike) it crashes quickly in Timespy. My worst performing results are in Timespy because of the instability while overclocked.

I don't really get it why you are unhappy with your card. For me this has been the most bug-free and stable experience of any of the 15+ cards I owned, AMD and Nvidia :), and I have tested around 20 games, new and old, some of them I played and finished. But well, some could be unlucky, too many hardware combos out there

would not consider this fun experience, the top 2 are confirmed driver bugs the 3e one if seen another user complain about recently on reddit and game has recent patch from july 14 that fixed artifacting issues in few envoriments, before i started doom eternal i produced a driver crash that is 100% reproduceable simply by opening live view on my synology surveilance station, and the artifacts usually appear after crashing driver even when doing it intentionally, game was started up after driver crash not before or it would crash game as well.

I've had two 6900 XT, a reference and Nitro+, and both could crash in TimeSpy GT2 even at stock

Why do you assume that @Felix123BU and I aren’t “real daredevils”?;) Would you believe me if I told you that I soldered an EVC2 to my 6800 XT?:D

You my friend is a real daredevils. :respect:

I am going to flash my 6900XTU with the XTXH-LC bios for which one needs external programmer. :D

This thing is on its way from Amazon:

The XTXH-LC bios does not brick the Liquid Devil, but cannot be flashed by Windows and Linux tools due to having different ID.

I will be ordering EVC2SX myself. :D
I was looking for it yesterday at amazon but I think one need to order it directly from Elmorlabs.

Yes for me as well higher VRAM voltage gave higher VRAM clock.
I have not tried this part of MPT until now.
Reading at Hardwareluxx and Igoreslab forums, some people tried to play around things like Fclk and FclkBoostFreq but they got only a very little FPS gains.

The bios programmer has already arrived.
Now need to get it all setup on my laptop before attempting to flash XTXH-LC bios onto 6900XTU. :D

EVC2SX has been order.
I think it will take few weeks for it to arrive from Taiwan to Germany.

I am also working on CTR2.1.
The initial settings are just stupidly unstable. I got now P1 and P2 working after manual tuning. I need to fine tune further as Cinebench sometimes crashes with error message with these settings though in built stability test in CTR ran through without issues.
Multi-threaded score was around 8960.
With curve optimizer I got max 8700.
