I like mine cooked over high heat with the edge of the white sightly brown but the yolk still not fully set.
I'm with you on that one. I cook them until the center is starting to brown and the edges are crispy. The yolk center is usually still soft.

All you need is a little butter, some ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon.
That's good too!

my friend in England buys cans of pineapple to add extra pineapple to the pizza's she buys from the co-op :D

i like pineapple on some pizzas, but its rare for me.
I love pineapple straight out of a can, or in drinks, but I find it weird on pizza. It could cut the heaviness when you've got lots of toppings, I guess. But then, I don't like too many toppings, either.

Edit: My favourite pizza is a cheesy Margherita with mushrooms or streaky bacon.

Edit 2: Domino's is doing a festive pizza with chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce. I love a Christmas roast but putting all that on a pizza sounds disgusting.

best pizza i have had recently is the crosta mollica stromboli, pizza from morrisons, it is delicious... unbelievable how good it is, but i can feel my arteries clogging as i eat it lol

I'll have a look for that one. Have you tried any of the Morrisons Best ones? I think they're amazing.

If youre cooking it on a baking tray, just cover the top in tin foil. (you can also wrap the fish in tin foil along with everything else...) It will stop the meat from drying out and allow the fish to cook in its own juices. you can forgo the squeeze of lemon until after the fish has cooked but thats more of a personal preference thing. There is no right or wrong way when it comes to lemon.
There's no fish better than seared salmon. Either with some beurre blanc (white butter) sauce, or on its own. Baking takes too much of the flavour and texture away, imo.

If it has Gravy instead of Pizza Sauce, sign me up.

Also, pineapple belongs on Hawaiian pizza, not traditional Italian style pizzas. Ham, Jalapenos, and Pineapple are a great combination especially when it is too hot to be eating regular pizza.

You folks are lucky that you get to try it. I just looked and it's not to be had over here... :(
Yeah, Domino's has some interesting stuff over here every now and then... Unlike McDonald's. I can't figure out how it took them so many decades to figure out that jalapenos are nice in a burger. I've been doing that with my own burgers since forever.

McDonald's Hungary has Hungarian style burgers with spicy sausage, and back in the summer they had Italian style burgers with pesto and a big chunk of mozzarella. What do we usually get here in the UK? Chicken Big Mac? Oh please! :shadedshu:

I've only tried that once. I love burgers and like jalapenos, just not together. It's easy to understand how some people like that combo. Now mix diced & strained jalapenos in with the beef before cooking? Hell yeah! Not sure why but it just tastes better to me.

I've got the same feelings about pizza and pineapple. Great separately, weird together.

This is blasphemy on oven baked fish. All you need is a little butter, some ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon.
Depends on the fish. Most fish oven baked I prefer lemon juice and sea salt. Salmon I like a maple marinaded one I can buy at the deli here.

as for pineapple on pizza, add some jalapeños peppers and bacon, the sweet spicy and smoky grease go well together.

I've tried that! It is good! I personally prefer banana peppers to jalapenos do to the flavor and also the spice not being as strong, but that's just me. Our local PapaJohn's knows my family well for how often we make an order like that.

I've always wanted to try Papa John's, but it's insanely expensive over here. :( Luckily, we've got some local chippies in my town that do great pizza for a fraction of the price.

I have not tried Morrison's Best Ones, I think once you try Crosta Mollica imported from Italy, you won't want any other pizza brand. As @the54thvoid says it is his favorite, also my favorite. I mean, it's 10x better than any takeout pizza around this island and only costs like 4-5 quid per pizza. Papa John's is overrated, but it does have a unique taste, in my small town of 40k people back home in America, we have like 12 pizza joints. It's like our pub though no alcohol. So, take my Crosta Mollica recommendation seriously

I'm just back from Morrisons, and I "accidentally" bought some Zizzi Calzone. I have no idea if it's any good, it just looked too good to be left there. It has loads of toppings so it might not be to my taste, but we'll see. I love calzone, so I have high hopes. :D

The next one to try will be Crosta Mollica, I promise. :)

I've done it once or twice with even homemade dough and sauce. It was nice, but these days, I tend to use Morrisons pizza as a quick morning snack after work (I work nights), or takeaway pizza as a late night weekend meal with a film. I don't really eat pizza during the day which is when I tend to cook when I do.

crosta and mollica has a base you can buy, no topping, just sauce and crust, that might be worth considering too @AusWolf

I haven't seen it, but I might not have been looking hard enough. It sounds like a good idea to try, especially since I like (streaky) bacon slices on my Margherita, but it's not a very common topping at my local chip shops, unfortunately (due to the religion of people working in most of those places).

I would still recommend trying to the Stromboli or mozzarella crosta and mollica first, because they just have insanely tasty topping. I'm pretty sure if I eat the stromboli more than once a week, I will die of a heart attack at age 50 though... so buyer beware lmao
