My friend, I like you, but I"m clueless why you've got such a grumpy and sour attitude towards the game when, judging by your previous comments, you don't even have it. We finally have here a game studio that did everything right, and went 500% beyond that. With what's here it should be $200 game, and yet you want to hate on it.

So come on, what's up? You're against game studios doin' it right? Or is it something else?

Just found another game breaking bug.

I used Alchemy build for my Death March run, and I spent my ability points to Synergy (Increases bonus for mutagen placed in mutagen slot by 10/20/30/40/50%).

It's a nice skill/feat to have but then stupid glitch (some might say awesome game exploit though) happened :
Found an Earth Elemental guarding a treasure chest, fight with it, throw a couple Dimeritium bombs, the thing died and then I looted the treasure. Went to inventory to see what kind of sword I looted then I noticed something strange about my Sign intensity, it says +500%!! WTF!!

Looked around the internet and just found out that IF you equipped Synergy , then throw Dimeritium Bomb and stuck (or just walk or run past) in the green smoke you'll get FREE PERMANENT bost to your sign intensity and vitality. I saved my game and try to messed around wit Dim Bomb and now I get +1765% sign intensity and 17000 vitality.

Now I'm playing with Synergy removed, but still with +500% sign intensity.
Place a Yrden trap and most enemies would freeze (Yrden alt trap also does a very high damage), very high Igni's burning damage, you can knock enemy with Aard and they will stay knocked down for a long time, Quen and Active Shield Quen become very hard to break, and you can charm enemy with Axii for a longer time.
Damn, it's no fun at all.

Then don't do that combination for now. In the meantime, notify CDPR, either on their own forums or GOG forums. Guarrantee the fix it.

Yup, not gonna throw any Dim Bomb around for now.

There is a couple of threads mentioning this bug on CDPR official forum, apparently it happened since patch 1.04.

EDIT : 1.06 = crafting now works properly, but Synergy+Dimeritium bomb bug still here.

No I don't own it yet. I think the game is great and it looks amazing from the screenshots I'm seeing. I was just being a tool.

Started another playthrough last night...truly the indicator of a good game! I was in awe the first 30 hours, and didn't know tactics for certain monsters, wasn't aware of all the crafting, alchemy, etc and which were good character traits. All of these things were different from TW2, and it had been awhile since I went up against any of the special monsters so I forgot their weaknesses, etc.

This time will be a much more measured, and informed playthrough.

@okidna, I didn't see your dimetrium bomb issue in the patch. I'm glad the alchemy is perfect now, tho! Add your voice and let them know on their forum. I don't even know what synergy IS in the game, and played the whole thing without one Dim bomb, so I can't even help you LOL!

After playing Witcher 3 for nearly 80 hours on steam, I now miss the difficutly of Dark Souls and bough Scholars of the First sin for 15 GBP (50%) off...

Witcher 3 is a great RPG but damn the difficulty is WAAAYYY too easy even on hardest.

And I still died multiple times jumping into fights I had no business doing. I do like that high level enemies are available everywhere when you are low-level, which is a nice thing. Some games do the level up thing where every enemy is as low level as you in the beginning, for much less challenge and realism.

True, no mention about Synergy+DimBomb in the changelog. Guess I'll stuck with +500% sign intensity and 8000 vitality then or I could lose up to 10 hours of gameplay by loading my last normal save.

Alchemy, Mutagen, Rune, Glyph all back to normal now.

Not every game has to be hard like Dark Souls. TW3 was plenty difficult on the second difficulty setting, up until around lvl 18-20, then it got pretty easy.

Wolf school gear!

Which I find strange, because I believe Geralt is from the Wolf School of Witchers. You'd think that would have been in the original game, not part of the 16 free DLC's they announced almost a year ago.

From what I saw of it, I like the Wolf School arnor very much! Since I'm on an early second playthrough, I still have time to gather it up.

Not a fan of the look for Triss. It's an unapologetic gift to the horny kids. It's completely against what Triss would wear, for anyone familiar with the series (2nd Battle of Sodden Hill). What I do like, is even if you install it, it will have a slider bar in the options to turn it on or off, just like the Yennefer one.

Got a weird bug, some characters have red teeth. It's weird but not game breaking. Anyone else got it?
Ploughing away at the game, still in Novigrad.

I found it funny that the game makes several self references to it here and there that everyone wants you to do some task for them before they talk to you.

You know, till now the armor Geralt wears at the beginning is the best looking one for me, pity it can't be upgraded.
