I would personally wait. I played the Witcher when it was released and to be honest it was a totally mediocre game. The protagonist (Geralt) was mute half the time and the story was all over the place. Combat was definitely mediocre. Give CDPR credit as they went back and made an extended edition of the game, fleshed out Geralt with more voice over and made the story flow better. Combat was still mediocre so hopefully the remake helps that out.Edit: Or should I wait for the UE5 remake of The Witcher 1? Hard choice.
