Oddly enough, i never have to re-login to discord or have any issues with it. It remembers my credentials and away i go.

Ah, that's a browser setting that remembers your login credentials. I don't allow such settings for security reasons. So no matter where I go on the net, I always have to login manually with every visit.

I care not what the reason is, logging in should never be a pain. It should always be smooth and easy for the user.

All I need to is scan a QR code in the Discord app on my smartphone, and I’m in on the PC side.

I'm just hahaing every post here to fit in with the cool kids.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm not using a chat service on a phone or tablet that have nothing but an on-screen touch keyboard. Physical keyboard, in browser or no deal. I'd rather not use a service than use it on a device which is very cumbersome by design...

Well, there is the desktop application. It's all really up to you if you want to join or not. No hard feelings either way.

I do have the app on my gaming desktop for overlay and calls
but if im idile chatting i would rather a window in a browser then another app to clog up the alt tab window

It’s not the worst interface I’ve dealt with, could be more friendlier to the user though.

I'm going to agree that discord has a shitty interface, 100%

It's so damn clumsy to navigate and un intuitive, even years of use i still cant find things when i need them

I'd be fine with Discord from a browser if they'd get rid of that 2FA BS or at least give us users the choice of whether or not to use it. 2SA similar to what Google uses for logins now(where you input your nick, press enter, and then the password) would be fine.
