Had spare RAMsinks and thermal tape so I put heatsinks for my cards:

Vanta-16 (this was totally naked originally)

FX 5600 XT

Radeon 9550 (noticed that bulging cap, need to replace it ASAP as the card doesn't currently work)

Radeon X800 GT

Radeon X800 Pro

6800 Ultra

8800 GT

For some reason I practically missed the whole first gen Phenom. Well, built a XP rig around that finally.

The board has pretty "meh" OC options, but I'll try something later.

That case looks pretty damn awesome. I can't even imagine what kind of a watercooled beast that could house. :)

Did they ever make a SATA drive adapter for the PS2?
They do exist, though only third-party ones. I have a third-party PATA version, though I'll probably get a SATA one when the current Seagate 200GB drive dies one day.

This is a thing of beauty! DFI FTW!!

Nice! Didn't know that. Make for an easy SSD upgrade for a PS2. @Greenslade Is that what you were planning?
Yeah, a SSD would be nice as they're hella cheap these days. Probably I'd upgrade one of my 480GB Kingston A400's and put one there, though a quieter fan would also be nice (I have the fat PS2 with the noisy fan). Would be almost dead silent then :)

I do not. I rarely buy from outside North America due to customs costs that are more hassle than is worth dealing with.
Customs are the reason why I also prefer buying from EU as they came tax/customs-free. I used to buy stuff from UK but after Brexit it's not worth it anymore in most cases. :(

That is easily fixed, as long as you're willing to open it up, clean it and re-oil the fan bearing.
It's not the bearing, I remember when I got my first PS2 brand new back in 2002 and it was just as noisy as my current one :D

Can't remember what I paid from mine. Bought that few years ago and my ebay history doesn't show that.

Look more carefully, his board pic is from elsewhere.
