Here we go for a Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 4th July 2024!!

Well, that's a surprise in a way considering the lack of work units about the place for Rosetta... Not in a bad way but damn! Great work everyone, here's a bit of a server stats update for Rosetta.... Just in case...

Not too bad this morning when I grabbed the data, but I'm guessing it'll be slower to go down now, but hopefully we'll be OK for a little while I mean, its not a bad thing Rosetta doesn't work all the time, we can support other crunching if we choose

And there we go, a bit more of a clear out of Rosetta jobs I think and then a wait until the next batch of work units that will come to us I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? Here's another server stats update just in case....

Well as expected, not much floating about now but also not much left to upload back to the server either... Wonder if we will get some new work units soon...

Here goes for the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 6th July 2024!!

Well there we go! Not too bad considering there's so little work going around at the moment, according to the stats below, a little over 10,000 jobs left in progress so I wonder how long or if we have many or even any of those jobs in our TPU teams queue... I think I'm out dry right now?.... Server stats for you....

We'll have to wait and see whether or not we get a few more issued out so we can push on with some more points for Rosetta Thank you for the efforts everyone!! Take care everyone!!

Not bad. I got five brand new rb jobs 10 minutes after I finally got BOINC up and running on Ubuntu 22.04. The installation of the new 990 and operation system took way less time than getting BOINC Manger to function

Well here we are again everyone, the Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 7th July 2024!!

Well that was expected to be honest, was very little left in the Rosetta tank I'm sure but checking the server stats this morning, well, paints a little better picture I hope....

And there we have it Just under 650,000 jobs for the morning, well, figure that won't last more than a few days but we'll see Take care eveyone, hopefully see you back tomorrow for another update!!

@xrobwx71 32 threads will up the numbers regardless of OS, but my last test on my 3900X/Win10 lost big time to Linux. The secret sauce is that Linux (kernel 6.5 is better that 5.15 btw) bench better in Measured floating point speed. Take a look at mine...the 5950X was made at running condition (18 threads Rosetta and only light work on the side). 96-100 point/hour per thread which compensate for not running 100% and getting much lower numbers, higher energy consumption and temperature.

Well guys and gals, here we are for another Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 9th July 2024!!

Well well, there we go!! Great work guys, @xrobwx71 and @mstenholm leading the way there with at least 20,000 points each!! Amazing work!! I only had one PC on yesterday as the weather was so pants and today hasn't been much better, a few hours run with a few of the PCs on since it was sunny but now... shut down time
Gutted.

Still, here we are for some server stats update....

So there we go, from 1.2 million jobs yesterday to just over 930,000 today, well, tis a bit of a drop!! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? I hope to see you all again tomorrow for another update!! Take care everyone!!

Well well, its very close for the top 2, well done guys those are some impressive scores I don't think these work units been so heavy when it comes to the RAM requirements, so happy days!! It seems I think, we might be getting through these work units a bit quickly.... I mean look at these server stats.....

Just over 630,000 for about 7am this morning... Best keep an eye on that, might not have much work for the weekend at this rate!! Crunch on everyone!! Take care and I hope to see you all again tomorrow for another update!!

And there we have one amazing days worth of contributions!! Outstanding everyone!! Considering there's 6 of us today, that's so impressive!! Massive shout outs go to @xrobwx71 @mstenholm @Zachary85 @Arjai and @NastyHabits for making it possible!! I think we are just a few points away from our best daily contribution ever!! Here we go for a bit of disappointing news however..... Server stats....

I'm guessing we aren't going to be having another awesome day like today soon, so I can but hope we'll have some fresh jobs for us tomorrow or Monday... We'll see Great work everyone, hope that you are all doing well and are OK! Take care!!

Here we are and go for the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 15th July 2024!!

Well there we go, not bad for Rosetta considering how low the queued jobs are but hopefully things will get better... From these server stats you can see....

So I guess they might have pushed them out just after I was updating the stats this morning... Umm.. We'll see if it goes up or comes crashing down as we all know that when Rosetta is crunching nicely, sometimes about 250,000 jobs a day can be processed... That's a lot of work units!!

And there we go, not bad a numbers today, a bit more than half of what we managed yesterday but I think today's server stats will show why we might have less points today....

And there we go, no more work!! I bet its @mstenholm finishing the rest of them off!! Nice work everyone, good job to see some points on the board for Rosetta I hope everyone is doing well and is OK... Thank you @mstenholm for letting us know! It's a shame they don't put that on the Free-Stats page or even the Rosetta@Home pages... Unless I'm missing something from that server page....

I hate to say it, but my local electricity rate went way up last month, and running my two computers and my central air to keep cool is starting to be a problem. I am on a fixed income and I think I may need to take a break crunching for a few weeks until things cool off. I will be back in a few weeks.

I completely get it guys, its a crapper when they up the prices and I really don't know for what reason other than greed

After some thought I may add some memory to my main desktop. It's an older 4 core i-5, but it is my media center machine that is always on 24/7 recording over the air tv. Might as well put it to crunching as long as it's always on any way.
