I've been having problems downloading too. Or it would just give one unit to keep one core busy. Seems kinda silly to have 1 core doing over 5GHz and the rest sitting there doing nothing all night.

Then I thought I would fold on the CPU and GPU..

Project backend delay thingies again. Einstein@home gives tons of GPU jobs but Rosetta and WCG either don't give anything or keeps delaying downloads.

Einstein has CPU work available, too. Unless other WCG refugees are gobbling it up. I only have one machine configured for Einstein atm and haven't checked on it lately.

Einstein sits on my GTX690 on the bench. I keep the 3900x open for WCG/Rosetta.

It seems its back to its old tricks for a bit, we can only do what we can do everyone, so we can either ride it out or stop until its fixed. Whatever anyone decides to do, it is fine and there's no issues or pressure if your finding it frustrating, I am but then I don't keep my rigs on all the time..

When I loaded my cruncher up this morning @Arjai, it was a similar sight... Complained about it before shutting it down and then this morning, all of them updated with more on top!

Can't complain there I suppose!

One of my crunchers was down. Went downstairs to check it, shut the power off for a minute, turned it back on, hit the power button, and it pretty much blew sparks everywhere inside the case!!!!

Has a Seasonic Focus 750 watt gold power supply and I'm pretty sure that has fried.
Pulled it out and smelled it, and is smells like burnt electrical.

Only dang thing I have to replace it, is a Corsair SF450. I don't know if that will be enough power supply.

It has a Gigabyte X370, 1700X, NVMe drive, Velociraptor drive, CD drive, and an R9-290 video card.

Drop the power limit on the 290 and it'll be fine. Well, should be.

I actually found one of my old systems that has a Seasonic Gold X series 650 watt.

Currently crunching away again. :peace:

That's the second Seasonic power supply that has fried in the last 10 years. I love that Seasonic has the built in system protection! Both times the system booted right back up after replacing the power supply!

I haven´t tried it but as I recall from SS’ you add your PCs and all jobs are listed in a table. I will see if I can find some more info but take a look.

Anyone else having issues with the lack of work units being downloaded?? This morning when looking at the stats or for them, the website didn't work.... I wonder if they are connected.....

EDIT - Well I've not seen any real movement on the WCG forum/Facebook page so I don't think there's been any progression or change in the status of WCG dishing out work units so far... I'll check in the morning before work, maybe something might be there to update us
