Hey this is Ubisoft, the company that once posited 30 FPS is the best way to play games because cinematic experience hurr durrI tried Assassin's Creed III tonight, already beat it once on launch day, but I wanted to play the remastered version. In graphics settings on PC, it lets you change to 2560x1440 165hz, to match my monitor, set it, reboot the game. shows in settings it stuck.
ok so you think in game you would get over 60 fps right? nope, you get 63 fps. regardless if cutscene or gameplay. WHY DO YOU LET PEOPLE HAVE THE OPTION TO CHANGE REFRESH RATE IF IT DOESN'T WORK
fml, I can't stand these game developers sometimes. if it wasn't for steam deck and indie devs, I may have given up on gaming.
