I wish I could post pics but anyway Exoprimal is such a surprisingly good Game that earns easily the Capcom expectation. The only reason I feel that way is that TWWH3 has been unplayable for the last 48 hours. I just had a joint mission with the "enemy" team that was spectacular. Excelsior indeed.

Nope playing at 4K gives me between 105 and 136 FPS.

I will look at it as soon as possible, after paying £60 why not. I do reckon there will be some quick patchwork though lol
Yeah that's another thing with the sheer size of the games that are coming out with big releases, easier to miss glitches or having to prioritise fixes for the initial release.

FH5 free weekend is made for The Eliminator. Not going to be a purchase for me unless something drastically changes. Sure is fun (getting annihilated by better drivers) doing MP with +50 people nearly every lobby though.

I probably will purchase it once available. I don't think I have purchased a new game day one in over a decade.

Pre ordered Starfield on Steam yesterday. Hopefully it won't be a shit show that is the usual bugesda offering.
I don't pre-order anymore, I've been burnt to a crisp with Star Citizen. Do let us now how it will be.

Edit: WTF? €70 for the base and €100 for the Premium?! ..I'll wait for the first discount

you would be better off preordering it so you get the preorder items, there is a two week 2 hour refund period for steam games, so if its not your jam/turns out to be too buggy and you dont go over the 2 hour limit or wait longer than two weeks you can refund it.

That is exactly what i said to my friend. I set a timer on my phone for 1.5hrs then play the game, if it's pants when the timer goes off, quit game and refund it.

Replaying Life is Strange remastered. I thought that it takes somewhat a lot of power, but with 2500K @ 5GHz & R9 290X, stable 60fps with everything maxed out. I like that. :)

No, expanded and more fluid.

Are you playing with HDR? Colors look terrible on screenshots.

I was. Made a thread to discuss this and realized I hadn't tried taking a screenshot with it off. Must've been somewhere very bland in bad atmospheric conditions when I tried testing it earlier. Much appreciated, that fixed it. :)

Snowy overcast conditions in FH4 have a similar effect so I thought it was just an effect they overlayed during the post-race screen.

Can't let go of Baldur's Gate 3 also looking forward to Starfield, hopefully it will be as content rich as BG3. It will be an interesting comparison between the studios.

More on the Ascension update of Phasmophobia: Holy Toledo, how many bugs are there around! Seriously, many are borderline gamebreaking and all of them penalizing the players. Ghost audio is broken, cameras on tripods are broken, smudge stick is broken... and the list goes on and on and on. Still very much enjoyable with friends, but heck...

Playing Forza H5 on the free weekend. Benched to see how it does on mid-grade HW (very well) and played enough to see that it's FH4 in a different location. Cool, I still have lots to do in FH4 and I'll wait for a good discount on FH5.

I'm amazed it takes less system resources than FH4 with i5 8400 and 1060. To top it off it's faster and runs smoother.

Tend to agree now that if FH5 had been more like the Rally DLC and then had an amazing jungle DLC it would've been a much better game overall.

W40K: Boltgun finished.

Fun boomer shooter, but it honestly needs a few QoL improvements:

-A MAP. I got lost several times in game (in one level I spent 90 minutes, half of which was going back and forth. The fact that game is not very low-spec friendly and on low settings visual clarity suffers doesn't help).
-Hit indicator is messed up. It often shows e.g., getting hit from the left, while enemy is behind you.
-AUTOSAVE. This one sucks. Game literally saves sometimes with enemy in your face while you have 5 HP or so... Imagine how that goes...

Not sure what now either. I guess I could replay for 100% kills/secrets or higher difficulty, but meh.

Still a game to recommend, whether you like boomer shooters, or W40K universe. Bursting enemies like watermelons never gets old. Nor does going Rambo with Heavy Bolter.

Now onto Doom 64.
