Really keen on the idea of AC replay spree. Starting with ACIVBF->Unity->Odyssey->Valhalla->Syndicate->Origins. This still looks damn great in 5K DSR (pics coming soon, just trying to find a service that allows +30mb files)

I still play Mordhau (2019) occasionally. Friends and I play Battlebit as we all like it and no other shooters really scratch the itch for us ever since we swore off Tarkov, after the Unheard Edition BS. Warhammer 3 is still fun but lately I wait for a big patch and then do a couple playthroughs.

Nice! Never played AC4, still need to get around to that one.

I really liked Origins, I could just wander around looking at how good looking it was. Also liked the historical elements of it. I heard Mirage doubled down on that element. I really hope they do a good portrayal of the Shinobi in Shadows.

I'm also curious if you have issues and where you got your game as several people have had issues running it lately. It's up for a replay with me maybe next year.
I got origins a few weeks ago on the Steam summer sale, only about 8 hours in but no problems of any kind so far. it's laughable really, just like Mass Effect, started from the last game and worked my way back, Inquisition got me into DA then played 2 and now just Origins to complete.

why would someone play mass effect from 3->1? some games even transfer some data over from previous games

Probably the only turn based game I've actually liked next to Disciples 2 later on. 'same type of a game'

I have so many emotions surging through me right now, seeing someone putting Disciples 2 next to Heroes 3.

Skyrim is a good walking simulator.

DA:O is the last good Bioware game (despite the launch day DLC). Inquisition just made me angry, because it was just another open-world whatever-fest.

Me I'm playing Rimworld and doing a rewatch of Agents of SHIELD.

I actually played Andromeda first, was looking for something to play in a sale and picked it up, I wanted something different as at that time I neither played open worldy or Sci-Fi type stuff, back then I was mostly doing COD's and BF, long story short I thought it was an OK game, then in the next Steam sale I saw ME3 and grabbed that, realised at that point why so many were so disappointed in Andromeda, after that I did actually buy ME1 but by the time I got to finish that Legendary Edition came out so I got that as steam were discounting it to anyone who had purchased ME3 in the last year so I played ME2 from that and thought it hands down the best of them. After that I did play them all in the correct order (less Andromeda).

Yes mad I know

Managed to got Ace Combat 3 modded Japanese version to run on Duckstation. Dumb me forgot to put Japan BIOS in the folder, so it can't read Japanese ROM duh

I finished UPEO storyline yesterday, gonna try General Resource storyline now. Good thing is they have unique aircraft on each corpos, this one is called F/A32 Erne. Know what it based on? If you see the gaping mouth in front you should know :D

Yeah, I picked up DAO during the GoG summer sale, 3$ maybe? I have a hardcopy but my old eyes really don't like cdkeys, prescription labels, and the like. Come to think of it, I don't have an optical drive readily available anymore either.

I vaguely remember playing it at launch and quitting after a few hours because it was so unstable. Then about six months later v1.03 or v1.04 patch somehow managed to be worse. Eventually after 2-3 years I gave it another go and it was fine, apart from
The Fade
where it crashed every 5 minutes. I spent a week getting through that area, which should have take a few hours max. I've yet to replay because the trauma.... but otherwise brilliant game.

The standout is the scripting control you have over party, it's like a minigame you can spend hours on and really rewards you. To date it's still the only RTWP RPG that I can honestly say I found enjoyable. Everything else I've either switched/modded to turn based or simply become too annoyed to continue.

best of the series.

Shame this wasn't remastered for release instead of taking $120 preorders for ____ without any in-game footage.
Especially since they refuse to allow you to install a physical version of it that has been loaded onto a computer within the last decade ever.

It works for you? I can't play for an hour without getting a crash and yes I've tried a laundry list of fixes. I was even considering emulating it on ps3 to get a more stable experience.

(and no I don't think its my cpu - all other games are stable....)
I have had two CTD's now with the GOG version but my solution is just a frequent press of F5 (quicksave), which is a great idea in this game anyway. So it might crash on some area transitions... and 20 seconds later the stuff's loaded up again. Oh well :)

So yeah it definitely isn't stable. Some other buggy behaviour too like a camera going wild on me in the Mage Tower... And somehow this game pushes the 7800X3D to peak clocks/volts too, seeing 75C on the regular while the GPU is casually chilling at 144 fps. I think I'll try running it at a locked 60 today, and see if its more stable.

As for emulated PS3... would not recommend. Its not the same game, some options are lost there, especially in terms of pickpocketing and other 'odd' things you might want to do at times.
Also mods; I'm running Character Creation Extended, Skip the Fade (can't wait to skip that shit lol), and Character Respecialization and the latter is truly recommended, because it allows you to respec your entire party at will, which is absolutely useful because some companions are just godawful when you get them.

But playable? Certainly

I got origins a few weeks ago on the Steam summer sale, only about 8 hours in but no problems of any kind so far. it's laughable really, just like Mass Effect, started from the last game and worked my way back, Inquisition got me into DA then played 2 and now just Origins to complete.
You can at least play Origins now and import your character to Awakening. Or are you gonna play Awakening first :D
But yeah that makes absolutely no sense, playing trilogies back to front... how did that happen lol

You do have a fantastic opportunity for a second playthrough now, once you've finished Origins, you can import that into DA2 and see what changed.

Yeah Inquisition always struck me as a Dragon Age with schizophrenia, really not knowing what game it wants to be, its not an MMO, but its also not a tight single player RPG. Like, why am I farming large maps full of mobs and materials here? Andromeda has the same problem, and the effect of those open areas is that you lose focus on the story. The grind kinda wins from the game itself and the two don't mix well.

Even Dragon Age Origins has some of this issue; I mean, I just defended the town of Redcliffe and then jolted off to the Mage Tower, while Ser whateverhisnameis went on a dangerous quest into the castle. He's just gonna be waiting there with that scene I need to be part of, with his relatives, until I'm done carefully picking apart the Mage Tower. So immersive :D

Yeah, I don't like the way things have gone either, but at least I can enjoy that I have a cool pirate black box version od Black Flag somewhere around the house.

Fired up an old game that was really hell on the system back in the day.

Sup Com Forged Alliance. I didn't get any mods installed, but it plays way smoother today than it did back in like 2008. XD

Via Game Pass, MW3. The sbmm is ludicrous and I'm on pad so lots of aim assist OG MW2 maps are cool to play again. It's alright.

Playing Delta Force Hawk Ops Alpha Test.

It's battlefield made better and free.

Too many hackers though. It's most I have ever seen in any fps game. It's lets you report them in game and after a round so thats cool.
