ASRock tech support told me that because it's a Z790 mobo no BIOS update needed to start with. They do have a new BIOS for it though and I'll likely put that in after I put it together. Everything is coming from Newegg's warehouse in Indiana so it'll be here Wednesday (you know where I am). Already shipped. I may have to get a 6000 series GPU from our mutual friend I bought the CPU from.yeah I am a big fan of the steel legend series, nice choice!
just make sure you update BIOS to the latest before you do a clean install or set xmp
