4080 to me is much worse
Here down under the value of the 4090 seems a whole lot worse.
I can get a 4080 here brand new for $1800 where the 4090 is at least $2800. That percentage is like over 50% more.
In a lot of games the difference is like only 25% @ 4K. The latest 4080 review that W1z did, the Gainward 4080 is the most efficient high end GPU atm. This goes a long way in my book.
I've also noticed when it's time to sell, when the latest cards arrive the highest end cards fall the furthest so from a value perspective from me it's the 4080 atm.
Take Hogwarts for example @ 4k:
Difference @ 4K is less than 25% and even more in lower res. Price diff more than 50%
Me personally still considering the 4080. The 4070 TI has crossed my mind also.
