Antidepressants, actually.
You don't feel depressed if you're dead. Genius.

I just bought a really warm hoodie. Will save my ass from this winter that became a complete madness. We usually have around 30F (-1C) in December but it was below 10F (-13C) lately.

climate change?
Yeah, sort of. The world is crying about getting sunburnt and choked to death by global warming whilst our city becomes colder every year. Last summer wasn't even a summer, and winter kicked in a month earlier than normal with heavy snow and painfully freezy winds.

Hi,
Got to love amazon
They refunded me for an item I did not return a 980 pro 2tb
Told them about the booboo via chat a little while ago and I asked for another return code and I'd be happy to return it and they said I can keep it and the refund o_O

Deal is on the same order I did return a defective battery charger "about 10+- days ago" but they somehow said they received the 980 pro 2tb as well just recently
Saw it in an email they sent me a few days ago just shrugged it off though.

You just found out first hand why it's called "climate change". It's much much worse than just a rise in global temperatures.

I guess someone on the other end likes you

Bought a 1gm tube of Kryonaut to finally install my PA-120.

Kept the NF-A12 fans from the NH-U12A on it, and used LNA adapters (1700 RPM).
WAY less noise compared to before (sans LNA) and my max load temp in R23 dropped from 82c to 73c :D

Are you going to tear it down for re-paste and dust clean up? I mean I would :D

yes, i know. The pro variant can even play games at 4k so it definitely is. My 1050 ti was struggling with even 1080p low with some new games.

not interested, i think my brother did that few months back so it's not needed and i am not experienced with that stuff,

Hi,
Lay it out, back up in the sun for a while will loosen it up
You can also roll it up tightly the other way for a while and wrap it or put in a tube this takes longer than the sun.
Hair dryer can also help.

Tech, I guess.
Not sure if this is the exact diameter that I got, but close enough.

Derned expensive, for just some metal.

Was working on an attachment for a friend's lawn tractor and ran out of wire. Had to finish with sticks and I must confess that is some of the worst welds I have ever done.

I much prefer MIG.

Dunno. Sold by the pound, as it comes in various thicknesses. Plenty long enough for me though. I run out of gas more often than wire.

I bought two fake ps4 controllers to connect to pc. They can connect 70% of the time...

I won 100 notes so I decided to treat myself as it was on offer.

A 5-digit Benchtop Multimeter.

These things normally run at $2000+, but I found a used electronics shop (https://accusrc.com/) selling an old 1990s model (the Fluke 45) for only $120. Albeit with some parts missing, a few broken bits of plastic, and a dim screen... but hey, it actually works so I'm happy (and at a small fraction of the costs of a new 5-digit multimeter).

Seeing 500.00 mV measurements is pretty crazy when I think about how accurate/precise the parts are inside of this multimeter.

----------

I'm measuring odd effects in my circuits in the ~50-microvolt range, the ADCs of my chips seem to be messing up at this range and I'm not understanding why. Then again, this is an effect that I can only see because I have such a precise multimeter now. So maybe I should stop caring about such a minor difference and call my current project complete. I was aiming at 99.9% accuracy, but I'm closer to 99.7% accurate even after calibration, and I'm not really sure where this little bit of error is coming from.

EDIT: Did I say 99.7%? I was off by a zero. I'm 99.97% accurate but was aiming for 99.99%, lol. Woops.

99.7% is... still pretty good though and I'm proud of my results.
