It would seem you are correct but they haven't used that theme in years and the energizer bunny (without a creepy smile) is far more well known.

You remember it wrong. Standard 3060 is 28 SMs, 3060 Ti is 38 SMs, and that Frankenstein has 30 sharp. This is closer to a regular 3060 + it's limited to 80 W on top of that so clocks are nothing to brag about, and thus, these 3060 Mobiles are slower than normal 3060s. 3060 Ti is beyond any reach for them, unless you somehow modded this 3060M to eat 300+ Watts.
Even so, a 3060 of ANY variation is going to be better than a 2060 or 6600, full stop.

That is depending where you live. ;) Afaik in germany there was never an energizer bunny. But all the time that mechanical battery driven toys shown by Duracell. In germany there is also a proverb referencing that Duracell bunny. ;) I.e. when you drank too much espresso and run all the time around without a chance to stop one also says he felt like the duracell bunny.

Actually, Duracell has a trademark on the bunny everywhere but North America.

The Duracell bunny was first, but only the Engergizer Bunny is in North America.
Well. Also the YT-documentation only focusses only at the US. In germany we also have Varta and Sonnenschein as battery producers. Panasonic also don't seem to be american products. So it seems that all (products, marketing) is depending on the local markets.

I like the way it closes the gap between the IHS and the bracket itself. Harder to mess up with excessive paste or LM.
Yeah, LM lovers nexus.

Yeah it should make paste clean up easier down the road and it just looks a lot more sleek on the board itself than the stock locking mechanism as well as a bonus. The main reason to get one is less to do with temps and more to do with preventing unwanted bending that was a reported concern though is probably a bit overblown, but we're all sheep.

I'd be very wary of a prebuilt box like that, they're often riddled with malware.

Agreed 100%. I find it's better to read these days anyway, most shows and movies are garbage.

Duracell rabbit in 1992

Energizer copied Duracell. Duracell Bunny dates back to the 1970s.

I last purchased an ASUS P5Q3 which comes with a Core2 Quad Q9550 that I don't need.

seriously?... i feel like i've got beaten

my "basket" right now when i saw your post
1701849660960.png

but i am still pondering tied between that and a resin printer ... but unfortunately resin refil are rarer than PLA/ABS/PETG rolls
will decide tomorrow i think :D

BBC, no it's not what you think, it has nothing to do with British Broadcast Corporation or a Big Black C... Cat... it's Better Butt Cushion
20231203_120811.jpg
bought that one for 7$ on TEMU ... i was expecting something that would fall in multiples pieces on first ride but, nope ... equal build quality as the original saddle i replaced ... and way more comfortable

Rear derailleur and cassette (also got the 8S shifter SRAM EX1, since the cable from the Shimano, unexpectedly, broke o_O )
20231205_112652.jpg

aluminum spider and steel gears ... 20chf? well it hold quite good right now, time will tell if it's a keeper or a "GET THE HELL OUT!"
20231205_112659.jpg20231205_112705.jpg20231205_112709.jpg

and well, i got some gift for my birthday, before i'd get games or PC hardware, but now i get bike hardware
20231205_112640.jpg20231205_112645.jpg
basically he got me the initial black/red chain i wanted but did not take because it was 116chf (i voiced my concern and he swore that he did not get it at that price  )and a pair of Look Trail Grip pedale (way more expensive than the "ultimate shinbone destroyer" also a one piece aluminium but that's the only similarity, only 8 studs (abs? compared to quite a few more in steel), reflectors and a camouflage rubber cover made by Vibram(R) )

hum ... now i need to paint all the green part of the frame and change the stickers on the battery to red ... although with the pedals ...might not be needed ...

my "basket" right now when i saw your post

but i am still pondering tied between that and a resin printer ... but unfortunately resin refil are rarer than PLA/ABS/PETG rolls
will decide tomorrow i think :D
From my very minuscule experience, if that is your very first 3D Printer, I'd go FDM. Resin is toxic, while printing, after printing, during washing....it only gets safe to use after curing. Unless you can provide excellent ventilation, have decent-rated mask, gloves and are serious about health, I would go FDM, PLA primarily as it is somewhat the only non-toxic material. ABS/PETG has nasty micro-plastics in the air and do require some decent ventilation in the room you gonna use them. So if you are putting this on your desk next to your rig, I personally don't think it's a good idea if its resin.

EDIT: next you need IKEA LACK MOD: Table 55x55 and a guide ;) I bought one, waiting for me to do this enclosure.

EDIT 2: @GreiverBlade , cause I know you like to get stuff :), you might wanna buy a spool holder to avoid "pendulum effect", "ghosting" from the 1kG spool that's swinging on top of your printer. You can make one or buy one off the shelf.

Gria sich.

I buying resin and also filament always via EBay directly at Sunlu. ;) But i'm in germany. You can also look at 3DJake (austrian firm) if they deliver to ch. They do to germany. I use to use Sunlu in Filaments and also in resin. They are good and cheap.
