When i got there..... 9 fans 2 hubs and a Commander Pro? SWEET!!!! Also notice he had a case in the trunk. Asked if it was for sale too..... He said he was about to trash it...... it was sticker bombed....but Lian Li 0ll Dynamic XL? Sure ill take it. So that's 9 Corsair QL rgb fans, 2 hubs, Commander Pro and a Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL......for $50 :rockout:

Well, had to remount the TG AM5 High Performance Heatspreader three times in total, but eventually got a good contact, Conductonaut Extreme on die and between TG heatspreader and Optimus Block.

Stable at 5.55 GHz 1.23 V all core, SMT off. Happy with that. Used OCCT for the tuning and stress tests.

More stuff came in, Corsair White Mesh soft tubing, Black ICE 360mm white body/black fins radiator, and a different vendor was finally able to deliver the white flow meters. A new case is coming too.

As Rock B650 Pro RS: Yep but I got the WIFI MAtx version.
Lexar LM790: I got the 1 tb instead
Arctic P12: Yep had some of those lying around.

I like the for now. I paired mine with a 8600G. Sounds like you have the rest of them on the way though. It is insane when you look at how many different CPUs you can use on AM5.

The same as AM4 in my current B450M PRO4-F R2.0 board i can easily use something like first, second third or fourth gen cpus and they will work just fine long, long way to go. That's way i love AM4 platform, AM5 should be something similar in long term.

UPS didn’t exactly treat the packaging nicely though. Weary to open it up when I get back home.

Very annoyed. Had a free weekend to case swap, had all my parts out of the nv5 and didn’t initially see any problems. I was taking the rear panel off only to discover the panel was crushed in shipping by the bottom fan. No paint chipping which is why I didnt notice it at first… at least thats a testament to their paint quality and finish.

Disassembling and rebuilding for no reason is super fun

I had a nice PC building little setup on AM4. Allowed me to use every single chip up to the release of AM5. Standouts were not in order

1. 5900X butter smooth
2. 5950X V8 Super car Twitchy
3. 3300X Excuse me is that 4 cores? MIA for 6 months +
4. 2600 The 6 core that proved 8 cores (1700x) were not as important as we think
5, 5600G The HTPC king pair it with a AS Rock MB and get 120hz support for your IGPU
6. 5700X3D For the price and X3D this is still the best upgarde for AM4 for Gaming
7. 3700X This proved that 8 cores are still faster
8. 3600 This proved that 8 cores were not that much faster.
9. 1900X I know it was TR but still they were AM4 CPUs
10. 2920X. What a monster for the price. I still have my TR system. It just not connected.

I guess that is why I love my current setup.

Isn't there any way to mount the block directly to the die?

You need a special frame, and the gains aren't significant.

I'm already at a 350 MHz all core OC with good temps so I doubt it would benefit measurably to direct die.

Yeah, and not to mention the possible risk of cracking the die in the process. I know about the frame, Derbauer made one right after AM5 launched, and when I saw that ugly thick stock heatspreader I thought the direct-die is the way to go ever since.
