will gpu continue to have crazy TDP?

I've never used screen savers they were always stupid as hell to me versus literally having the OS turn the display off after number of minutes. I normally set it to around 3-6 minutes. It's sometimes a little minor momentary inconvenience if set particularly low, but it will save energy on the other hand. In the days when screen savers were more commonly utilized widely like by entire school systems the displays themselves consumed more power so it was just doubly terrible on wasted power.

Mine idles at like 9w and can do about 360w, maybe a bit more, depends on what's running. I have seen GPU rail powers at 400w.
