i Know it's an Old topic and a lot of thing on windows 11 get there hands on windows 10 too, and the windows 11 is less buggy since the launch,

i have i5 13400 and as you know it's P/E Core intel CPU and in terms of this windows 11 thread scheduler they work better than windows 10, but is it really noticeable?

i watched a lot of Youtube Vid but i want to know the real answer.

I would look into those other license modells for windows 10 and how long they get updates. Assuming you want w10

Personally, I would ignore the opinion, you do not need security updates.

I only game on w11 pro. I installed it with a local user, no email login account, which autologins during bootup. I have my data and files somewhere else. W11 is very buggy - but can not be avoided in the long run

A few of the features do not work when you use a local user. No bitchlocker encryption for C: without being not asked. And some other features which are turned off automatically.

I tried Windows 11 and ended up going back to Windows 10. Windows 11 is very slow in every way.

I would recommend 11 from a pure security perspective. Windows 10 is going out of support in October after which it won't receive updates unless you pay an annual fee.

Running an unpatched OS connected to the internet, even when you're not hosting anything, can be dangerous. That's how we end up with botnets!

I'm aware that Windows 11's user experience is considered a lot worse but unfortunately unless you find a way to get one of the LTSB versions of 10, as a consumer you're kinda stuck if you want to compute "properly".

I use 14600K from recently. I removed 11 due to some crappy "updates" that fail to install bcuz of MS bugs.
I put Win 10 20H2 consciously. This is oldest win10 you can run on 12-14 gen without driver issues. Works flawlessly, all SW & games I need run smoothly.
I don't like even 21H2 LTSC, because even this is not "LTSC" now, but same bloatware-full BS.
But, for less "extreme" use-case, I reco you 21H2 LTSC still. ;) If you like 11 somehow, use 21H2 or 22H2. Yes, you will see "oh gosh, you are running out of date system, please update!", but just ignore this BS. Put a reg hack or GPO for "target version" that prevents "feature update" for next version. Win 10 22H2, and Win 11 23H2 & 24H2 are prone to get "updates" that fail to install due to it's buggy nature. I'm done with being MS "debugger" - you all remember the update when it couldn't be installed due to MS bug - and you can by your own hands just increase some "system restore" partition to get this update installed. Lol. I've done this on like 3-4 machines. I'm tired to be MS free beta-tester. I like to be beta-tester by my wish, not bcuz some coders from MS make bugs, lol.

i switched back to W10.
other than the UI, everything works fine.

by UI i mean the W11 was a bit more pulished in terms of Space between folders in FileManager and etc....
W10 feels Small, if you know what i mean xD

Linux! :D

Seriously though... Linux. :p

But really now... I recommend Linux. :)

If you absolutely totally undeniably want Windows, I'd say it depends. Some swear by 11's thread scheduler optimisations for 12th gen Intel and up. Some people prefer 10 for the slightly better privacy options. I'm in the latter group personally... whenever I'm not on Linux for some strange reason.

I would go with Windows 11. I have been using windows 11 daily since it was released in October 2021 and I can't complain. Using it on my desktop and notebook.

Windows 10 goes out of mainstream support in October. Unless you are on Enterprise you kind of have no choice by default. It’s not about “it works fine” or anything, running a security risk just isn’t worth it. 11 can easily be tweaked to be much less annoying and the Windows 11 thread has plenty of examples. Beyond that, any differences between the two in practical use are minor.

don't worry about security if you are not exposing your PC as a server to the internet.
That’s probably the worst advice one can give.

Not going to have a choice for too much longer. But running both here and I honestly don't see much difference, apart from a couple of games that for some bizarre reason will work on one but not the other.

I just hope that Valve doesn't drop support for 10 like they did 7.

windows 10 or 11 ltsc, personally I will go with windows 11 ltsc, cuase some games can change system requirements after updates, and windows 10 could be in future unsupported -.-, like it was with Deep Rock Galactic. (Friend had windows 10 ltsc 1903, and after some update with new system on the way and old windows on it transplanted it did not work).
Windows ltsc is almost garbage free.
Edit: If You wanna windows 7 experience You can install open shell menu, and retro bar.

Forgot to mention, that's what my second video shows.

With consumer versions of W10/11 I prefer installing with a local account, without internet, and remove all pending app installs in Start before connecting. That's just apps tho, the amount of espionage is a different topic.

Consumer versions of windows 10 and 11 I'm using UnattendedWinstall it cleans a lot of garbage. For me garbage is apps that i don't use (sometimes even core components of system) that's why now I need to reinstall windows 11 24h2, cause I've changed something (I don't know what) and it is not the same as clean UnattendedWinstal system.
Windows 10 ltsc was my daily system for around 4 years, and it was great, but now after a few months on windows 11 i'm looking to change system from consumer to ltsc, cause consumer system feels strange after so much time on enterprise version. (I miss old days, where user was admin, not microsoft).

This is not advice, it's information, so don't call it bad advice. You know who you are lol.

Updates can be disabled in Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

I personally prefer updating whenever I want to (AND RISKING TAKING THE RISK BC I'M A MASOCHIST?.. OH NO WHAT AM i DOINGSs).

I've remembered in work we have windows 11 newest and after last windows update it is not longer capable of connecting to local network shared folders, and even after some digging in google I did not found how to repair it. So windows 11 consumer is to be aware of. Windows showed that updates can be messy in last few years, and consumer is beta tester.
