If you're unfamiliar with OS testing, don't mess up an install you need (i.e. homework/work), and make sure you have reliable, fresh backups if you do.

Or a spare hdd :)

It's not a trial, its a release candidate- basically better than beta, but not yet release.

yeah i'm trying various ones.

So far i've got 7 beta keys (already had em) and server 2k8, but vista keys just wont work.

edit: all of a sudden, keys appeared. i think they delay in appearing, cause the servers busy.

I just got 5 retail vista ultimate keys. holy crap.

Try clicking on the product keys tab at the top,and see if it says the same as this.

that product keys page did eventually load for me after a few tries - it lists all your keys, and products you havent got keys for yet. i just clicked get keys on every one, and copy pasted :) i feel... rich.

no. this is actually 100% legal and offered by microsoft. I just wouldnt try selling the keys.
