Are they deleting for sure? I managed to get some keys for Office 2007 but now download links and keys are greyed out. Im hoping this is to do with the server and its slowness etc.

Back on topic... I can see where people are coming from when they say its just a new UI, but there are some pretty good enhancements overall over vista. The main one for me is the speed and the smaller memory footprint.

7 does a few things better for me, than vista ever did.

Printing: it automatically picks up shared network printers, no need to install drivers locally.

Dual monitor: i can 3D game and watch movies full screen on the second screen, WITH crossfire running. Now thats jut awesome.

I think they're picking up on fake accounts as the keys and download links are greyed out on my account. It was only created about 8 hours ago. Damn microsoft i didn't have the chance to get any keys.

well they arent FAKE. MS just probably shut it down, because paid technet users werent able to get keys either.

Well, I'm sure I'll have no problem getting my hands on a VLK as I always do with M$ products.

Either way, I'm so impressed with Windows 7 that I'm even willing to pay full price for a boxed Ultimate edition come October 22nd!! :rockout:

I just hope they change the sign in screen to something more like what they had on the Beta version...The Beta sign in screen was sleek.

Normally I just use the keys that the office gives us but I'm so impressed with Windows 7 that I'ma buy it... actually, this will be the first OS I've ever bought in my entire life.

I currently have 3GB's of Ram but for about a week, i didn't notice that one of my Ram sticks was not slotted in probably and Windows read 2 GB but there was no difference in performance. I only noticed it when trying to fix a driver problem.

You will have to perform a clean install so you would have reinstall programs like maya, etc. For more information and some great helpful tips check out Microsoft Springboard.

Could you give us some information on whats happening with the free technet plus accounts?

Many of us thought it was a free promotional event due to how it was worded where it was initially linked from, and now we're seeing other sites mentioning legal action from microsoft.
