X1900gt Unlock Bios Found!!!

I've just bought an x1900AiW

It's have 16/48/8 like XT/X, but runs 500/960.

I want to know if AiW is better than a GT (12/36/8) at the same clocks.

I'm doing a MEGAREVIEW. Do you wanna see the results?

The AiW comes the next week. I'm doing ALL the tests with the GT at the moment.

we are screwed! cant some one modify a XT bios into 256Mb, i now that some one can!!!

GOOD NEWS!

If anyone hasn't noticed, there IS an X1900XT 256MB coming out soon. Hence, the PERFECT unlock BIOS for most, if not all GT's. :toast:

I think that the unlockable x1900GT, won't unlock with the Radeon X1900 XT (256MB) BIOS.

Why? Because I've try with an x1900AIW bios (256MB), and doesn't unlock

The unlockable GT's will remain unlockable even with X1900XT 256MB BIOS because it isn't matter of BIOS but the "problem" is on hardware (core) level

has anybody looked into the mosfets? 7 in a xt, 6 on a GT but what about the unlockables? 6 or 7 mosfets? Tofu? Sagi 10? anybody? this would answer it once and for all (imho)
for those who dont know what they are, it's the little black chips next to the thin red heatsink, check previous in the thread ( aprox. page 51-53 ) for images.

Mosfets do nothing for pipe number.

Sounds like a dead horse being flogged....

Theres nothing wrong with the card as it stands, it overclocks well, and performance wise it stands up with alot on the market today... in 6months time, locked or unlocked, it won't be worth much... so enjoy the good piece of tech you have now while its still good.

I´ve got a Powercolor X1900GT and ATITOOL say 0x12BB4 for GB_PIPE_Select.

Is there a way to unlock the 4 pips?

edit: sorry i wrote the pipe select wrong it should be 0x12BB4.
I foundon the first side that the unlock with my GB_PIPE_Select is pending. is the any result of that?

I though this thread was dead the 1.5 months I was gone.

ppl r still tryin to unlock ther cards. id say the chances are 1 in 100 maybe even less.

i received a pm from jfgibeault telling me he has an ENG SAMPLE, ill follow up on that.

for others, good luck x1900xt 256mb is coming out too, ill take a look at that and see if i can use the bios on a x19gt.
