System Name Not so complete or overkill - There are others!! Just no room to put! :D
Processor Ryzen Threadripper 3970X
Motherboard Asus Zenith 2 Extreme Alpha
Cooling Lots!! Dual GTX 560 rads with D5 pumps for each rad. One rad for each component
Memory Viper Steel 4 x 16GB DDR4 3600MHz not sure on the timings... Probably still at 2667!! :(
Video Card(s) Asus Strix 3090 with front and rear active full cover water blocks
Storage I'm bound to forget something here - 250GB OS, 2 x 1TB NVME, 2 x 1TB SSD, 4TB SSD, 2 x 8TB HD etc...
Display(s) 3 x Dell 27" S2721DGFA @ 7680 x 1440P @ 144Hz or 165Hz - working on it!!
Case The big Thermaltake that looks like a Case Mods
Audio Device(s) Onboard
Power Supply EVGA 1600W T2
Mouse Corsair thingy
Keyboard Razer something or other....
VR HMD No headset yet
Software Windows 11 OS... Not a fan!!
Benchmark Scores I've actually never benched it!! Too busy with WCG and FAH and not gaming! :( :( Not OC'd it!! :(
That's some of the bits and pieces around here, still trying to sort things out and get things put away so I can actually get to use the rigs :) My next plan of action is to get the EVGA Classifieds up and running with the PSUs I originally bought for them and the 980X's... Then it'll be a case of getting the other things sorted as I think I've a few Intel rigs I'd like to get built up and running.. Hopefully I've got all the hardware I need for it as I don't really wish to go spending just yet
I swear if i ever won the lotto i would be a really bad Pc klepto. Some nice stuff Phil. Shame i don't have enough money to indulge my hobby more.
Having a collection is great but I just wish I had more of it on show and working but its definitely not cheap to be trying to get 4 or 5 of somethings.. I couldn't believe the price of the Seasonic units... I've been trying to get an AM4 motherboard for our giveaway for our Kreij build and prices have gone nuts... A B450 board I bought and got a mouse free with it, is now selling for nearly double the money I paid for it brand new for something second hand... Crazy...

Thanks for the comments all, appreciate it :)

Update after 1 month of heavy gaming use, I do have a generally cool card and dont OC, the wrap applied is still going strong. I play Baldurs Gate 3 & Valorant (uncapped FPS) for hours on end.

Did a case swap on my 2nd PC. Thought using this Deepcool case for a reverse sleeper, but nah.

Need to install the RGB software so I can put the same colour to the CPU cooler than the case fans have.

Since I've been trying to save, I've had a few things sent over from my best mate in the US, so I've been able to do a few things ......

View attachment 318268View attachment 318269View attachment 318270View attachment 318271View attachment 318272

A test or two with my legends that are the Asus Strix RX480s... Can't believe I've still got them 6 years later I think roughly... But it had to make way for the new champ....

View attachment 318273View attachment 318274View attachment 318276View attachment 318277

So the girls both got (actually all three of them) got a RTX 3070 and a Crucial P5 1TB NVME drive.... I figured, since I could now upgrade my Threadripper to a Gen 4 NVME, I may as well do the girls machines! Not that they need it, I think Sophia looks happy enough playing her Plants vs Zombies :D She tries with the newer ones but they are still a little bit too much for her yet, Roblox seems to be a little bit much for her just yet...

View attachment 318275View attachment 318282

So I think that should work pretty well :) I think the only things I'd like to change in each of the girls PCs are possibly to take them to a 5800X/X3D or maybe a 5900X.... I've got some coolers spare for Sophia's PC but I'd like to hope a 280mm AIO will handle it no problems... I'll try and find some comparisons when it came to the RX 480 and the RTX 3070, worth whilst upgrade I think :) Hopefully the girls will enjoy!!
Each one of these will be crunching and folding :) Whilst I've got the hardware I believe I may as well put the energy towards something positive!! Oh, speaking of which, bit of a lay out at home for where they each sit...

View attachment 318280View attachment 318284View attachment 318279View attachment 318281

Here's a couple of the PCs in their little locations :) Cruncher in the black case (I'd like to get it another CPU....) Sophia's, then Isabelle's and Rosie's... Then in the little Lian Li case, that's my little gaming rig for night time and then my beast Threadripper :)
As you might have seen in the above pics, so here's a little closer look, hopefully! :)

View attachment 318286View attachment 318285View attachment 318287View attachment 318288View attachment 318289

My one and only I guess you could say(??) my EVGA Classified motherboards :) We've the amazing EVGA SR-2 and then we have two EVGA E759 and E762, they are more or less the same at they all have a 7970 in them! :) An upgrade from the original builds with my GTX 580's :) Back in 2010/2011 I believe I had ordered them....
The next two CPUs I was able to find, I'm extremely excited to have them with me as well...

View attachment 318290View attachment 318291

The Intel 980X's :) 6C and 12 thread, for each of my Classfied boards apart from the SR-2... That's already got dual X5675's in :)

And may as well save the crazy till last I thing...

A bit of a random and daft put together but its definitely going to serve a purpose :) Meet Phill's little backup server....

Since I had a few hard drives lerking about the place, I thought what better way could I have but to put together something that will serve as a big storage
Firstly, the PCIe NVME adaptors where there because when I was connecting everything to my Asrock Z170 OCF board, any of the 3 NVME slots on the board would knock out two of my drives connected to the system so I'd loose two drives... Couldn't have that so I bought the PCIe NVME adaptors.. First was a 1x card which kinda slowed down the Wizwot NVME drive I've bought to try out - if I real call, but to be honest, there's nothing there that would matter if I had kept it in there, btu me being daft, I've now switched it for a 4x card which is and has worked very well indeed. If my tired memory is correct, the speeds went from about 1200MB/sec read and 1200MB/sec write... The rites not massively improved but the read has definitely improved and that's not in the screen shot above...
I do like this little box of joy!! :D

One pic of some of my consoles I keep down ready to play on too....

View attachment 318283

I think until I get my next delivery as well, I'll need a bit more time getting the rest of this lot updated and working... Hope everyone enjoyed the pics :) Thumbnails this time to stop possibly breaking everyone's scrolling button!! :D
BOXED 980X'S! OH MY GAWSH. I am jelly. Everything else is also great.

Nice, must be a bitch to drain though.
Kind of, thankfully the top rad has ports on the other side as well, so I have to flip the case and drain it.

Got to ask do you really need 4 rads.
Not really, keep in mind they are regular 3cm thick rads so nothing too crazy, previously my CPU would hit the 95C tjmax with PBO and all that if I had both CPU and GPU pegged at 100% load and now it doesn't, of course that's an unrealistic scenario to begin with but it's nice that now it's basically never gonna hit that anymore. GPU temps went down as well during gaming but I am definitely well into the realm of diminishing returns. All that while fans are tuned to spin pretty slow, loudest thing is the coil whine unfortunately.

I am also kind of "future proofing", GPUs are not going to have lower power draw, that's for sure.

got an entire dragon theme going, I showed before my 3d printed dragon here https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/your-pc-atm.65012/post-5073147

well, I have an actual 3D optical illusion painted dragon sitting in front of the glass now next to the physical 3d printed dragon, it looks pretty epic, but sadly my camera can not capture the 3d effect since its on paper/canvas or w.e

its also a red dragon to go with my red theme.

Yes my phone has a really dumb camera. It's not as bright as it seems in the picture.

I have a few gripes about this vertical mount. The screws don't reach as this isn't a proper "uni-f*cking-versal" bracket like it's claimed to be. Had to use some longer screws to get it on the case and if you want to move your triple slot forward one, another screw gets in the way. While it's advertised for dual and triple slot cards, the latter you'll be fighting to get in there.

Temps are good. NVME drives are in good standing with the PCI 4.0 one maxing at 65c, and that's with crystaldiskmark and a full GPU load going at once. Yes it's leaning and I'll be fixing that shortly.

3/10 Antec mounting.

Got me rolling :D with that one. I can't really get into vertical mounts as I always have some add-on cards, but I have been eyeing inverted MB with the card's cooling on top (Corsair 600C/Q). Wondering if you get a "reverse sag" then :D

Probably on the reverse. Need to make a damn zipline to clip the cooler to in order to keep the card up I swear.

Are you doing it for looks or cooling? I've never understood the point of these things, you're introducing a riser and all the nonsense that entails to avoid situation that doesn't require it. Looks cool though.

Never tried it and it was cheap. Cooling is the same so ended up as looks. Gotta get experience somehow.
