Your PC ATM

Semipassive PSU? Mine stays passive with low loads.
idk, never heard of that term before, it probably does though because the black label cx series was launched last year though not entirely sure because it's a budget unit

Was kinda hard to see the Molex line I had dropped down.. it was so I could see what happens when I run Furmark and Linpack at the same time lol..

Damn, Zalman's panel. I had the MFC1 back in the day, like in 2008 or something. :D

that grill, from MNPC?
It is. Bill Owen outta Minneapolis,MN used to make em. I bought them at PPCS.com like a year ago for 60% off each. They were worth the full price.

Do0d..

It has always been shit..

But it is kind of convenient sometimes :)
Heey I didn't have anything to complain with the older panel :)

Sucked though that some of the fans had just 2-pin on/7V/12V control instead of a knob..

But as we're on this thread, let's post a pic of my Cat pic machine

Are the fans static colors? It would look even better if they could complement the cathodes.

The rear one and that white one are static, but that's a good idea! I could also put all other LEDs to that light green colour. :)

shifted my pc to other side of the room and only viable corner of the room, setup looks much cleaner now with case front facing it looks more eye catching and so far im liking it :D

Its done, finally, I refuse to do anymore to this rig other than retire it. Its been in two different case, has three different cooling solutions and 5 different gpus since I originally bought the 12700k/Motherboard/Ram, several years ago now. Been a great PC for editing and such. Tried to take some decent shots of it with a Sony ax6100 and used a couple of lights.

I get what you mean. If you check my specs, you'll see my rig is v1.XX because I haven't ever done a full rebuild - something always got carried over (and even though I don't count storage upgrades in this rough versioning, I still have my old faithful Samsung HD322J since 2009 without failure).
You'll also see I put a FINAL there, but I'm quite unsure of such a title as I'm now planning to put the system under water. If I'll still keep the Level 20 MT or change the case when I go for the custom loop, I am still to decide...

More changes incoming. Swapped in 140mm fans in front, so I could use my billet grilles. A new (to me) set of bdie ram is coming for this build this week. There is also a 12900k on its way next week as well. That outta bring up my 1 and 5% lows in COD and I can run my screen at the full 250hz and enjoy so smoother gameplay. Plus its more stuff to tinker with. My first 12th gen i9, so that'll be fun. All I do on this rig is play CODMWIII HC MP and run benchmarking software.

And the 12900k is in! Memory is late arriving, so benching without bdie for the moment.
1st place in 3dmark steel nomad and my COD is looking pretty good so far.

I have both PC's setup now, though I still have to figure out what video card I want to put back in the Lan-Li A3 rig.

i still have it but now sitting somewhere since today case has no 5,25 inch drive anymore

I'd have never thought to use a riser this way, honestly.
But what do you call it now. A "lowerer instead of riser?

Interesting RAM cooling. Jonsbo has a nice solution with a good mounting approach but unfortunately it would hide those beautiful ram sticks.

This pic has such a vibe that I need to post it here too

So the bdie came, I tweaked, benched and pulled up PCMark 10 1st place for my cpu/gpu config. Now its in 1st for both 3dmark (stl nmd) and PCMark 10. Not too shabby.

Well that explains why I never thought of using it that way, lmao

But yes. I'd call it A Lowerer :P
