its really not that difficult to figure out lol you just undo the monitor cable n pull the rest out lol then put your pc on summut n snap away :D lol if you can build a pc im sure you can take wires out :P
my monitor turns a shade of yellow or blue or whatever color other than clear, when i move the cable for even an inch, as my CRT monitors (ive got 3- 2 old compaqs and a dell) have a screwed up vga cable from countless years of service.
yeah I am sorry ... the day I posted that comment I had a really bad day and when I saw the case I decided to be completely honest and mean (probably not such a good idea :S )

i hate when others put down my work, this was on a budget, i hate my case, but im not complaining, so, why would any one do that? i never put anyone's work down, so we need a mod to ban this idiot for flaming.
t77snapshotIts prob you graphics card dying, I got the yellow and blue marks on my screen from my old Geforce 7200GS crapping out.
it isn't my graphics card, as im currently running it well, no abstracts or any marks on my screen normally, with a 15 inch Compaq MV520 CRT Monitor, though the card is about 2 years old, going onto 3 this year, so soon it will require replacement.

WOW I said I am sorry and thats why I edited my post !
thanks, im putting my life savings into my computer, and I recently replaced my budget parts with higher priced gaming parts, such as a core 2 quad, and a GTX 260 Core 216, so, im set for 4+ years of service with it.
Is this a work in progress? I am sure it's going to look great once you are done with your MOD. Good Luck,

I would suggest at the very least an Intel Nehalem based Quad-Core (Intel's newest build from the ground up) and an ATI Radeon HD 5870 series of graphics cards for longevity IMO. The mid/low end Nehalem costs cheaper and run circles around the mid/high end Core 2’s.
Or you can always wait for AMD's high end Leo platform hehe

Sorry for the late reply, just busy living life, lol. It certainly is a work in progress. I'm not a major gamer, just my budget games, I'm mainly a online type - 2000 tabs just to check whats new in the computer world, lol, so the hardware I chose, is what I could afford at the time, no job, unfortunately, and what I needed, and I did look at getting the Nehalems, but, still too expensive, spent most of my $600 budget on the graphics ($200), and even then I barely use it, its just sitting there, as im not much of a windows user anymore, too many security threats, even with the right firewall, and combined with the high memory usage of windows 7, so its linux I go for now, until, I am able to get my hands on a 250 GB or even the 300 GB velocirapter for a separate gaming computer, and an old IBM thinkpad to use for my everyday web browsing. As for the case, its going to be replaced with a tech station, or a custom built wood and standard aluminum motherboard tray, and the current case is going to be used for a cheap web server, to host my daily blog on, and my free open source project on as well, specs are still in the air though, thinking Ubuntu Linux x64 server + cheap uATX motherboard + my backup P4/E2160 + 2GBs of memory and a 250GB hard drive, the rest will be based on board, nothing too special. Also, about the Nehalems, is that I already had 2 socket 775 chips to use as backup, and a heatsink, so I decided on getting a cheap Q8200, and use what I have already to save some cash. Also, thanks, I will need that luck, since my older board just gave out after 2 years, or at least It will not turn on at all, after trying to mount everything in a case, and accidentally letting the power supply drop on it (ouch!), so I'll be waiting for some cash in the mean time, to buy a replacement power supply, it needs it, as the last one was 850w without any sort of efficiency, and it doesn't need that much power, so its back to 400w for it, and probably a replacement motherboard as well (eying the EVGA 730i - for my gaming computer - can't stand leaving my quad at 2.8 GHz due to my cheap ass memory + the Intel chipset blocking any sort of 3 GHz OC, and my current board for my everyday workstation - pretty damn stable for a linux workstation box + a P4 640 until it dies off).
HookeyStreetI must have an OCD or something because I could never leave my desk as messy as that lol :)
I have a lot of CDs for games,OSes,and other things, and I also pretty much live out of my room and desk, so its going to get cluttered through daily use

Will do, just need to figure out a way to move the comp without messing with my monitor and cables

I just edited my system, i now have a 21 inch LCD Screen from LG, 5.5GB of Main Memory, a Logitech Web cam, and a 500 GB hard drive
