Performed Mods:
Fitted rocker switches in place of WC holes, and fitted SST-CLEARCMOS switch in COM port mount. Modded rocker switch to turn off 140mms, green front and side fans. Modded PSU sleaving to allow routing behind the motherboard tray. Modded 9600GT, by removing plate and attaching velcro to act as vibration dampers between the HSF and PSU.
No physical case mods as such, and this is an update to my first Case Mod Gallery which has now been deleted as it had crappy phone pics. Went a bit crazy on the cable management, you should see it behind the mobo tray!!! :eek:

Excellent Rig! Love the Mean Green!

9.5/10 for sure! 10/10 if you had a 280 instead of the 260. Still solid gpu setup.

very nice alex 8/10 I gave you an 8 because 1) I like the colour scheme 2) placed CCFL's properly 3) creative on water cooling tube grommets. silverstone aeroslots might count as a mod as it's usually one of the easiest and wisest ones to do.

I voted 10/10 because:

It's a great system with a great layout. I love the cable cleanup, nice layout for everything, and of course the green case fans.

Theres no way this is a 1/10, what kinda troll would vote that way?!

Thanks man.

And I got a high rated icon now! :D

I still get the itch for a new case every now and then, but everytime I look I never find anything with the airflow of the CM690 that does everything I want without spending £100+

these are the changes I noted by eyeball for the HAF 922.
* mid tower
* front bezel is altered doesn't have mesh on the sides
* 5x 5.25" drive bays instead of 6x
* 2x usb 2.0 ports instead of 4x
* no top window
* no firewire port
* side panel config is similar to Storm Sniper you can mount 1x 200mm fan (HAF 922 only supports 200mm not 230mm) or 2x 120mm fan
* no ventilation on right side panel
* can replace 200mm exhaust with only 2x 120mm not 3x because they removed fillport and radiator support
* uses the Storm Sniper expansion slot covers
* uses an improved version of the Storm Sniper "Storm Guard" security slot
* uses Storm Sniper motherboard tray
* uses Storm Sniper hard drive cage which is similar to the HAF 932 but the perforated holes are different, the HAF 932 has 7 sets of square holes. the Storm Sniper and HAF 922 have 6 sets of round holes
* the steel looks like SGCC or anodized like the Storm Sniper
worth it?

I probably wont even upgarde, I like this case too much.

Only reason I said it is that I like the HAF but I need a Mid tower case.

And the HAF 932 doesnt have a top window either.

I mean the window at the top of the side panel. 922 only has a screen.

Ahh fair enough.

I like my CM690 too much to get rid of it. I just get a bug when I want to buy something every now and then. Thn I'm looking through and cant find anything better than what I have without spending a fortune so the itch disappears... for a while, lol.

I don't know HAF 922 is supposed to have a MSRP of $100 (probably $120 tops) kinda appealing.

I voted 9/10.

Looks great, makes me miss cases. Loving the green.

And yes, that 9600GT did belong to me at one point, haha.

I think someone needs some water...

Great... i give it 8.5/10 (voted 9) just because it should really get painted to get a higher grade...

Awesome cable managemet considering the amount of cabling going throug the case (3x VGA, 2x Cathode cables - including the damn thick transformators ), and i love your mobo :D

Green kicks ass... :D
