System Specs:
  • C2D e6300,MSI 975x power up,1GB GSKILL 800mh,JETWAY X1950PRO 256mb,ULTRA X-Finity 500W PSU,ASUS Star Ice cooler
Performed Mods:
Optic flip top drive mod, frosted acrylic, added side door with hinges, added Two 140mm white led fans and metallic dust screens, added aerogate3 fan controller, moved all switches and leds, chromed all case screws
I was going for a cube of ice&steel look with this mod. The optic mod came from me losing the bay covers, which I've found now. My future plans are to[most important to me]replace the P.O.S ASUS star cooler with something thats not a leaf blower. Then replace the jetway x1950pro with a DX10 card or add a DX10 card if physics can run on the jetway. The two 80mm fans will be getting replaced at some point too. I also would like to do something with the mobo side of the case, like a blue etching of something. Any ideas any one? Theres no pics of the inside but you can rightfully flam me for poor cabling.

No, I only made the side with the 140mm fan and did a lot of cutting to the front. I'm working on a home made HTPC case right now though. I'm using acrylic and wood and will also include the optic mod and VFD readout. It will be sometime before it's done but I'll be posting it.
I agree with you ex raven. The plan was to replace the top 80mm fan with a 140mm fan/grill like the front and sides but the wife made me get a mini van instead, now I'm broke. Do you think a chrome etching would look cool on the mobo side or maybe just cutting it out and add a grill there too? First thing up is to get rid of that ASUS HS.
I up loaded some new pics, this time of the inside also.

I like this a lot. I like the idea of your CD/DVD drive. Seems like it would open up much more room for Hard drive space or whatever else you need. Cool...
