System Specs:
  • Conroe E6600 @ 3.4GHz, Asus P5B-E, 2GB DDRII-800 OCZ ram @ 850MHz, Albatron 8800GTX 768MB, OCZ gameXstream 600W, 22" Chimei widescreen LCD, Logitech MX518 mouse. 2x 200GB samsung drives, one for vista, one for XP pro. Pioneer DVR-110 16x DVD-RW drive.
Performed Mods:
Cut the case drive bays so the GTX would fit, upgraded CPU cooler to a noctua 120mm, added 2x92mm intakes. Added Scythe Kama bay 120mm fan intake to the DVD bays to increase airflow.
Benchmarks will come in a comments post - that way i can update/format them correctly.

These tests are at 425x8, using a ram divider to get 850Mhz on the mem.
GPU is at stock.

3Dmark 05: 17,991
3Dmark 06: 10,992

Lavalys everest scores:
Memory Read: 7,349MB/s
Memory Write: 7,748MB.s
Memory Latency: 71.4ns

Superpi: 15.015s

Edit: power consumption
System uses 210W at idle, 230W idle in vista.
At max load, the system uses 310W, gaming use is more around the 290W mark.

Protiusvery nice, case looks nice and clean
Yeah i wanted it to look minimal - clean and tidy as possible, while fast and quiet (well, as quiet as a GTX can get)

Nothing snazzy, but extremely clean and tidy!


Perhaps you could cut a window into the side of the case and fit some LED fans/neon lights to make it look more 'shiny' .

yes, yes they bloody did. Theres a new revision out which uses straps, instead of a cord. The Antec solo uses the same ones, i sold one of those to a friend and stole two of his straps :)
