The Mobility Radeon HD 530v was a mobile graphics chip by ATI, launched on May 5th, 2010. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the M93 graphics processor, in its M93-S3 LP variant, the chip supports DirectX 10.1. Since Mobility Radeon HD 530v does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The M93 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 73 mm² and 242 million transistors. It features 80 shading units, 8 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. ATI has paired 512 MB GDDR3 memory with the Mobility Radeon HD 530v, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 450 MHz, memory is running at 600 MHz.
Being a mxm module card, the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 530v does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 10 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
