MiTAC Computing Showcases Cutting-Edge AI and HPC Servers at Supercomputing Asia 2025

MiTAC Computing Technology Corp., a subsidiary of MiTAC Holdings Corp. and a global leader in server design and manufacturing, will showcase its latest AI and HPC innovations at Supercomputing Asia 2025, taking place from March 11 at Booth #B10. The event highlights MiTAC's commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology with the introduction of the G4520G6 AI server and the TN85-B8261 HPC server—both engineered to meet the growing demands of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.

G4520G6 AI Server: Performance, Scalability, and Efficiency Redefined
The G4520G6AI server redefines computing performance with an advanced architecture tailored for intensive workloads. Key features include:
  • Exceptional Compute Power- Supports dual Intel Xeon 6 Processors with TDP up to 350 W, delivering high-performance multicore processing for AI-driven applications.
  • Enhanced Memory Performance- Equipped with 32 DDR5 DIMM slots (16 per CPU) and 8 memory channels, supporting up to 8,192 GB DDR5 RDIMM/3DS RDIMM at 6400 MT/s for superior memory bandwidth.

FSP Readies 2500 Watt PSU with Four PCIe 12V-2×6 GPU Power Cables

Taiwanese power supply manufacturer FSP showcased upcoming products for 2023 and 2024. This included new power supply lineups with updated naming schemes - the entry-level VITA series, mid-range ADVAN series, and high-end MEGA and DAGGER series. The simplified naming clarifies the differentiation between affordable, mainstream, and premium offerings across wattages and efficiency certifications. Specific new PSU models include 1500+ Watts beasts for maxed-out systems, redundant server-class units ensuring uptime, and 80+ Titanium efficiency ratings for eco-conscious builds. Star of the show is FSP's flagship unit, which boasts a staggering 2500 Watts, 100% modular cabling, and cutting-edge 12V-2x6 PCIe Gen 5 graphics card power connectors.

Called the Cannon Pro, the 2500-watt power supply has four 12V-2x6 PCIe Gen 5 connectors to feed even the highest power-rated GPUs and the three 6+2-pin connectors. This new PSU is also rated for ATX 3.1 specifications, 80+ Platinum Specification, and the upgraded version of the 12VHPWR PCIe Gen 5 connector, supposedly overcoming all the issues, in the form of a 12V-2x6 PCIe Gen 5 connector. The PSU should be able to power four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs simultaneously with its high capacity. Pricing and availability aren't specified, so we must wait for FSP to launch these products in 2024.

Antec at Computex 2019: Neptune ARGB CPU Liquid Coolers, Signature Series PSUs, Katana ARGB DDR4 Memory Modules

Antec at Computex 2019 showcased a myriad of products, of which we bring you three families in this post: their Neptune ARGB CPU liquid coolers, the Signature Series of PSUs, and their Katana DDR4 memory modules.

The Neptune ARGB liquid coolers are available in either 120 mm or 240 mm AIO configurations, each packing a single or a dual fan setup (I leave it to you to guess which is which)s. These feature PWM controlled fans, have a flow rate of 1.5 L of cooling liquid per minute, feature RGb lighting (in case you hadn't noticed the ARGB in the name), and are rated for up to 40,000 H MTBF at a 25º room temperature.

Enermax Shows MaxTytan Series of 80+ TitaniumPSUs With Integrated Power Meter

The MaxTytan series of PSUs, which Enermax showcased at Computex 2017, will stand in as the company's flagship power supplies when they launch later into the summer. All of them feature 80+ Titanium ratings (though they're absent of the more recent and more grueling Cybenetics testing.) The Enermax MaxTytan line will include four models at 750 W, 800 W, 1050 W and 1250 W outputs. All MaxTytan PSUs support the company's DFR (dust free rotation) technology as well as fanless operation at below 55% - 60% load. The 1050 W and 1250 W models also feature Enermax' Coolergenie device for system fan control, and have an integrated power meter (this one might come in handy for those of you looking to ride the crypto wave, uh?)

The MaxTytan series feature a modular design across all models, and have 2x 4+4 CPU power connectors. The 750 W model will retail for ~$200, the 800 W will go for $210, $299 will net you 1050 W capacity and a power meter, and the 1250 W MaxTytan PSU will go for $359.
