DeepCool Intros Wave Micro-ATX Case

DeepCool introduced the Wave mini-tower case, designed for micro-ATX and mini-ITX builds. The case is characterized by a wavy design that run along its front facade, including a door that conceals some drive bays. The case features a top-positioned PSU bay, and with its drive cages occupying the top and central portions, this frees up room at the bottom (the expansion slot area) for graphics cards as long as 33 cm. The case also offers room for CPU coolers as tall as 14.5 cm. The DeepCool Wave offers two 5.25-inch, one exposed and three concealed 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive bays. Ventilation includes a 120 mm front intake, a 90 mm rear exhaust, and a 90 mm side vent. Measuring 387 mm x 175 mm x 353.5 mm (LxWxH), the case weighs 3.2 kg, and is made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. DeepCool didn't announce pricing or availability info.

DeepCool Intros GamerStorm TriStellar SW with Tempered Glass Panels

DeepCool's quirky yet desirable TriStellar three-chambered mini-ITX case, which made its debut with CyberPowerPC Trinity, and then as a standalone case, now comes in a new variant, called Tristellar SW, that features tempered glass panels on three sides, for its top chamber, which houses your graphics card, and three 3.5-inch drive bays. Consistent with DeepCool's GamerStorm Nephrite ITX in function, the tempered glass panels let you flaunt whatever high-end / modded beast you have, running underneath them. The three panels are mounted along the chassis, with four thumb-screws, each. The rest of its feature-set is identical. The company didn't announce pricing or availability info.

DeepCool Also Shows off GamerStorm Cube Case

In addition to the Nephrite, which makes your graphics card unmistakable at a LAN party; DeepCool also unveiled an untitled cube-shaped ITX case under its GamerStorm brand. The case features four differently-sized chambers divided by a cross-shaped partition that doubles up as a front applique.

The top-right chamber holds the mini-ITX motherboard tray, with an 80 mm fan vent, and two 3.5-inch drive trays; the top-left chamber is dedicated to the graphics card, with a tinted acrylic window on two sides. The motherboard's expansion slot protrudes into this chamber, and so no risers are required. The bottom-right chamber holds two 2.5-inch drive trays, and a portion of the case's ATX-type PSU bay. The bottom-left chamber holds a bulk of the PSU bay, with room for cable management; and a portion of the bottom 120 mm fan intake.

DeepCool Nephrite ITX Case Lets You Flaunt Your Graphics Card to the Max

DeepCool, which is on a roll with cases such as the Tristellar, unveiled a slew of unique new case designs at Computex; beginning with the GamerStorm Nephrite. This slim, console-sized case, which measures 330 mm x 100 mm x 428 mm (DxWxH), features a two-compartment design, much like the ones we see in cases such as the RVZ02 by SilverStone, except for its asymmetric design, and its top (add-on card) compartment, which is transparent on three sides, letting you flaunt your high-end graphics card. So now, when you say your machine runs a GTX Titan X, or a Fury, you'll mean it.

The rest of the case is made of steel, with carbon fiber pattern cladding, cutouts at the right spots, and an interesting vent pattern. The motherboard tray seats a standard-height mini-ITX motherboard, with room for CPU coolers as tall as 120 mm, with a 120 mm fan mount right over it. You should have just enough room to stack an AIO liquid cooler block, with a 35 mm-thick radiator and one 25 mm-thick 120 mm spinner right over it. The case offers room for an SFX power supply. Now, if only NVIDIA bundled a $2 back-plate with its GTX Titan X, like it did with the GTX 980.

DeepCool Announces Maelstrom T-Series AIO Liquid CPU Coolers

DeepCool announced its latest Maelstrom T-series all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, the Maelstrom 120T, and the Maelstrom 240T. As their names suggest, the two differ with radiator sizes of 120 x 120 mm and 120 mm x 240 mm, respectively. The two are characterized by a newer 0.2 mm-thick copper micro-channel design on the block, which offers higher surface area for heat dissipation to the coolant; and a new zirconia-ceramic impeller on the pump, which offers an MTBF of 120,000 hours.

The 27 mm-thick radiators on both models are mated with included blue LED-lit fans, which take in PWM input, spin between 600 and 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 83.64 CFM of air, each, with a noise output ranging between 17.8-34.1 dBA. Most modern CPU socket types are supported, including LGA2011v3, LGA1366, LGA115x, AM3+, and FM2+. The block has a glowing white LED logo, with a "breathing" effect. The company did not announce pricing or availability information.

DeepCool Launches GamerStorm TriStellar ITX Chassis

A week after its debut as part of CyberPowerPC's Trinity gaming desktop, DeepCool launched the GamerStorm TriStellar mini-ITX chassis, so PC enthusiasts can cram in whatever hardware they want. It may be designed for mini-ITX motherboards only, but this is not a lunchbox sized case you can tuck away behind your flatscreen. It measures 435 mm x 395 mm x 388 mm (WxDxH), and takes up the same volume inside a carton as a cubical ATX case of comparable dimensions would.

Its design involves three temperature-isolated chambers with a triangular projection, which converge at a central hub for cabling to route between them. The bottom-right chamber houses a standard-height mini-ITX motherboard tray with just enough clearance for a stock CPU cooler (up to 80 mm height), or an AIO liquid cooling block with a 120 mm radiator. The bottom-left chamber houses the standard ATX PSU bay, a slimline optical drive bay, and two 3.5-inch drive bays. The top chamber has three expansion slot covers, although there's just one PCI-Express gen 3.0 x16 riser. There's enough volume for a GeForce GTX TITAN-Z dual-GPU graphics card. This chamber offers another three 3.5-inch tray-type drive bays with hot-plugging back-planes and 2.5-inch support. DeepCool didn't disclose pricing.

DeepCool Announces GF140 PWM 140 mm Fans

With a 4-pin PWM input, the fan spins between 700 and 1,200 RPM, pushing up to 71.8 CFM of air, with noise output ranging between 17.6 and 26.7 dBA. DeepCool didn't announce pricing or availability.

DeepCool Announces GamerStorm Assassin II CPU Cooler

DeepCool rolled out the second generation of its GamerStorm Assassin type-D twin-stack CPU cooler. The Assassin II is huge, measuring in at 143 mm x 158 mm x 167 mm (WxDxH), weighing 1.48 kg (including fans). Its design consists of a large nickel-plated copper base, from which eight nicke-plated copper heat pipes pass through, conveying heat to two aluminium fin stacks. The two stacks are not of the same shape.

One of the two fin stacks features an edge that's pointing towards the rear of your case, and hence you can't strap three fans onto this heatsink, just a push fan, and a conveyor between the two fin-stacks, but not a pull fan. The push fan is a 120 mm spinner, running between 300 and 1,400 RPM, pushing up to 68.06 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 17.8 to 27.3 dBA. The conveyor fan is a 140 mm spinner, clocking 300 to 1,200 RPM, pushing up to 70.08 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 17.8 and 27.3 dBA. The Assassin II can handle all modern CPU socket types, including LGA2011v3, LGA1150, AM3+, and FM2+. DeepCool didn't mention if the cooler is good enough for 220W TDP chips such as the AMD FX-9000 series.
