Plantronics, a global leader in audio communications, today announced two new PC gaming headsets, RIG Surround and RIG Flex at Gamescom 2014, the world's largest event highlighting interactive games and entertainment. The new headsets will be showcased at the Plantronics MarketPoint Pavilion 18, and on the show floor in the ESL ZONE in Hall 9 in Salon C-054a, and will be available worldwide for Holiday 2014.

Announced early this year, at CES 2012, Plantronics' GameCom 780 Gaming Headset has now become available for purchase in Europe. The 780 offers a 7.1 surround sound experience (thanks to the Dolby Headphone and Pro Logic IIx technologies) and features 40 mm drivers, ultra-comfortable ear cushions and headband, a noise-canceling microphone, on-ear volume and mute buttons, built-in spin-joints (that let the earpods lay flat for easy storage), and USB connectivity.

The GameCom 780 can be bought for 49.90 Euro.
