The RTX 3060 Ti is reportedly based on the same 8 nm "GA104" silicon as the RTX 3070, but cut down further. To achieve this pricepoint, some cuts have had to be made. The cards ship without a backplate, and the cooling solution seems to be slightly less dense than the company's other, more expensive designs based on NVIDIA's chips.
