TP-LINK Announces AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter

TP-LINK, a global provider of networking products, today announced the TL-PA8010 AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter, its fastest Powerline adapter to date with throughput up to one gigabit. Featuring the latest HomePlug AV2 standard, the device provides real gigabit throughput over a home or office's existing electrical wiring. The TL-PA8010 is interoperable with Powerline Adapters at various connection speeds, including 200, 500, 600 and 900Mbps, and is incredibly simple to set up. Broadcom and Microsoft Collaborate on Next-Generation IPTV System-on-a-Chip

Microsoft and Broadcom Corporation today announced a collaboration in Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) products.
