Buffalo introduced its newest NAS server, the TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. This NAS server has four 3.5" drive bays, and comes in capacities of 2 TB, 4 TB, and 6 TB, with pre-installed hard drives. The four installed drives can then be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 modes. HDD hot-swapping is also supported, along with support for Apple's Time Machine, Active Directory Services, and storage expansion using two USB 2.0 ports that can connect to additional USB Mass Storage devices.
