QNAP Expands NAS Line And Shows Off New Software

The guys from QNAP do not have too much new stuff, but are filling in the blanks so to speak. They are now offering a five bay TS-559 Pro NAS storage, which fits right in-between the four and six bay variants already available. On the software front we got a quick intro to their upcoming web interface for their TS-110 and 210 units. Buffalo Unveils New 4-bay TeraStation NAS Servers

Buffalo introduced its newest NAS server, the TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. This NAS server has four 3.5" drive bays, and comes in capacities of 2 TB, 4 TB, and 6 TB, with pre-installed hard drives. Buffalo Japan rolled out its newest NAS server offerings: the LinkStation WXL/R1. This 2-bay NAS comes with drives pre-installed, with capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, and 3 TB. The storage controller supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes. Basic DLNA support that makes it friendly with other consumer electonics devices at home.
