Xilence Brings Clear Acrylic RGB Fans and Pillarless Cases to Computex 2024

Partly like it's 2012 with clear acrylic RGB LED fans from Xilence. The new Xilence Gaming series 120 mm ARGB fans shed the trend of using frosted plastic to diffuse LED lighting, in favor of clear acrylic for both the impeller and the bore of the fan frame. The LEDs are studded along the bore, and not the impeller hub. You get modern FDB bearings, 4-pin PWM for the main function, and 3-pin ARGB for the lighting. The company also showed us their cable-free daisy-chaining fan series meant for radiator. A single cable powers one of the fans, and daisy-chaining contacts power the others in the series.

Next up, is the Xilence LiQuRizer, a line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, which feature a round (typical Asetek) pump-block, with an infinite reflection ornament on top, which shows off the Xilence logo. This logo can be rotated to get the orientation right. Besides ARGB lighting in this pump-block ornament, the included fans have hub-based ARGB. The series comes in 360 mm and 240 mm models. Xilence also showed off a premium variant of the LiQuRizer with an LED segment display that puts out temperature, pump, and fan-speed readings from ACPI (it connects to the motherboard a USB 2.0 header and talks to a software that can access ACPI).

XILENCE Announces the Performance X Series Power Supplies

Xilence, specialist in cooling, power supply and noise reduction of PCs and notebooks, is introducing its all-new Performance X power supply series. The new series features everything a demanding gamer would expect from a reliable power supply. Available in four models ranging from 550 watts to 850 watts, Performance X boasts high efficiency, stable output, a silent and durable fan design and a full suite of protection circuits, all at low purchase cost.

Performance X reaches extremely stable voltage on all rails thanks to its DC/DC technology. This method transforms alternating current into 12-volt direct current, generating the required 5-volt and 3.3-volt rails, and resulting in stable output values even under cross load conditions. An LLC resonant converter is also built in to further boost efficiency, especially at high output power levels while significantly reducing switching loss. Thanks to its cutting-edge technologies, Performance X reaches an efficiency factor of up to 92 percent and an 80PLUS Gold 230V EU rating. The power supply series meets all ErP2014 standards, including stand-by power of under 0.25 watts and an ecoPSU rating of 91 points, suggesting extremely economical operations that well exceed European targets.

Xilence Announces Performance A+ Series PSUs

Xilence, specialist in cooling, power supply and noise reduction of PCs and notebooks, is introducing a new revision of its successful Performance A series. The five models of the new Performance A+ series combine excellent performance with a low noise level and high efficiency. The power supplies are especially suitable for demanding use in gaming PCs.

Xilence is using DC/DC-technology for its Performance A+ series to ensure a stable and efficient power supply. With this technology, the transformer only has to convert the AC to 12 volt DC and increases efficiency. At the same time, additional voltages are regulated by the transformer to prevent incorrect voltage increases or cuts, in particular under asymmetric load conditions (so-called crossloads). This also ensures maximum stability. The power supplies are characterized by a low standby power consumption of under 0.25 watts. All these features mean that these models correspond to the 80 PLUS Bronze certification as well as an efficiency according to the ErP2014 standard. The main wire harness is sleeved to ensure a clean look in the case.
