Xilence Brings Clear Acrylic RGB Fans and Pillarless Cases to Computex 2024
Partly like it's 2012 with clear acrylic RGB LED fans from Xilence. The new Xilence Gaming series 120 mm ARGB fans shed the trend of using frosted plastic to diffuse LED lighting, in favor of clear acrylic for both the impeller and the bore of the fan frame. The LEDs are studded along the bore, and not the impeller hub. You get modern FDB bearings, 4-pin PWM for the main function, and 3-pin ARGB for the lighting. The company also showed us their cable-free daisy-chaining fan series meant for radiator. A single cable powers one of the fans, and daisy-chaining contacts power the others in the series.
Next up, is the Xilence LiQuRizer, a line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, which feature a round (typical Asetek) pump-block, with an infinite reflection ornament on top, which shows off the Xilence logo. This logo can be rotated to get the orientation right. Besides ARGB lighting in this pump-block ornament, the included fans have hub-based ARGB. The series comes in 360 mm and 240 mm models. Xilence also showed off a premium variant of the LiQuRizer with an LED segment display that puts out temperature, pump, and fan-speed readings from ACPI (it connects to the motherboard a USB 2.0 header and talks to a software that can access ACPI).
