The Package

1MORE definitely puts a lot of effort into the aesthetics of their products; even their boxes look stylish. The box is also more than durable enough to keep the Capsule safe during shipping.

Bundled with the Capsule are three sets of tips, earphone body covers, and a carrying bag. Even though the bundle is not huge, you get everything you need to get started. Compared to other bundles for earphones in the same price range, the quality accessories from 1MORE are right at the top.

The TRRS mini jack is well made and very slim. This should enable you to use the Capsule with any phone or DAP on the market today.

1MORE seems to care about their users and how they use the Capsule. They even include two small magnets at the rear of the in-ears, which makes them stick together. This reduces cable tangling and makes them easier to stowaway and get out of a filled bag. Of course, it also means they attract any magnetic materials that might have accumulated where you store them!

Closer Examination

The earphone shells are made out of aluminum, with silicone on their contact patches. The outsides of these, those parts your ears usually will not touch, are all anodized aluminum, which makes them look good, while the parts that interface with the concha are silicone wrapped. This setup really works; compared to other all-aluminum in-ears, the silicone covers make a huge difference.

The shell or body covers provide the earphones with a more skin friendly surface right where they interfaces with the concha of your ears. These work quite nicely and are easy to remove and clean.

One of my main gripes with the Capsule is the sound tube's length. With my pretty average European ears, it simply does not go deep enough into the canal, leaving me with a fit that is extremely easy to mess up. Here, your mileage may vary, but it is something to be aware of.

The in-line remote works well. The buttons are stiff enough to avoid accidental presses, and their tactile feedback is distinct enough for you to tell whether you actually pressed them.
