Despite its dual-slot cooler, it runs very quietly, with good temperatures, and has idle-fan-stop, too. A second "quiet" BIOS lets you dial down noise levels even further, making the card whisper quiet.

EVGA's RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra comes in at $400, so EVGA isn't asking for a price premium over the Founders Edition. In return, you get a better cooler with fan stop and an overclock out of the box. Just the pricing alone makes this card a strong candidate in the fight against the RX 5700 XT.

NVIDIA gave the GeForce RTX 20-series a midlife refresh with the new "Super" brand extension in the wake of AMD's upcoming Radeon Navi 7nm GPU. The RTX 2070 is based on the RTX 2080, which means SLI support and more shaders compared to the the original RTX 2070.

The $400 GeForce RTX 2060 Super increases memory size from 6 GB to 8 GB and shader count to 2176, which almost lets it achieve performance parity with the RTX 2070 for a much better price. Especially the added memory will help maintain competitiveness against AMD's upcoming Navi offerings.
