With the Suprim X, MSI offers an impressive RTX 4070 Ti custom design. Thanks to its huge quad-slot cooler, and an excellent fan profile, the card runs virtually inaudible, even under full load. Overclockers can manually increase the power limit up to 365 W, more than on any other RTX 4070 Ti.

Palit's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a cost-optimized custom-design of the RTX 4070 Ti, which means it can sell for less than other variants. Palit still invested where it matters, the cooler is more powerful than what ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte offer on their cards, with excellent, balanced fan settings.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ comes with the largest factory overclock of all Navi 31 cards that we've tested so far. Sapphire was also very generous with their power limits. During overclocking, with increased limits we were able to max out the 525 W power delivery capability of the 3x 8-pin inputs.

The ASUS Radeon RX 7900 XTX offers fantastic overclocking potential. Thanks to a triple 8-pin power input, the XTX is no longer power-limited, and the amazing quad-slot cooler ensures the card stays cool and quiet at all times. After manual overclocking, the performance uplift to RTX 4080 was an impressive 23.1% in Cyberpunk 2077.

With the Speedster Merc 310, XFX has engineered an excellent custom-design Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Thanks to an upgraded cooler, the card can easily handle the additional heat output from the three 8-pin power inputs. The additional power is put to good use, to extend the performance lead against GeForce RTX 4080.

Navi 31 is here! The new $999 Radeon RX 7900 XTX in this review is AMD's new flagship card based on the wonderful chiplet technology that made the Ryzen Effect possible. In our testing we can confirm that the new RX 7900 XTX is indeed faster than the GeForce RTX 4080, but only with RT disabled.

MSI's GeForce RTX 4080 Suprim X has the most powerful cooler of all the RTX 4080 cards that we've tested today. It's also whisper-quiet: we measured less than 27 dBA while running at full load, pushing out well over 60 FPS in 4K. Temperatures are excellent, too, even with those low noise levels.

In terms of performance our review confirms that this is the best air cooler available and out of the box performance is great too, thanks to a default power limit of 500 W.
