Storage Performance

CrystalDiskMark gives us a quick look at a drive's read and writes performance, both sequentially and at 4K. The queue depth is set to 32.

Meanwhile, I also check performance via 3DMark Storage Benchmark, which gives a quick look at how the SSD performs in various drive tests. While there are more detailed results than shown here, we opted for the overall score, average of all tests, and average access time.

USB 3.0 transfers are tested using an ORICO 6518 Series USB 3.0 docking station paired with a Crucial MX200 500 GB SSD. For these tests, Crystal Disk Mark and HD Tune Pro are utilized to test and verify performance.
