This PSU is very efficient, as we can see by the way of the ETA-B rating and 80 PLUS Platinum badge. It is also dead-silent, earning it a LAMBDA-A++ rating from Cybenetics, which is the best in its noise-certification scale. The unit's specifications even include a fully modular cable design, semi-passive mode, 50°C rating, and full set of protections.

The dimensions are normal for a 650W unit, and the provided warranty is quite long at seven years. Finally, given this product's high-end features, its MSRP is as expected.

The +12V rail can deliver up to 54 A, while the minor rails deliver up to 100 W combined, which is more than enough for a modern system. With 3 A maximum current output, the 5VSB rail is also strong enough.

Following through on our demands, Aerocool equipped the ACP-650FP7 with two EPS connectors and four PCIe connectors, with all of them being available at the same time. The best part is that all PCIe connectors are on dedicated cables to make sure there are no major voltage drops, as is usually the case with cables that have two PCIe connectors each. Finally, the number of peripheral connectors is adequate for a mid-capacity PSU.

Since this PSU features a single +12V rail, we do not have anything to comment on when it comes to its power distribution.
