  • Very simple but effective interior layout
  • 5.25" to 3.5" tray included

  • Compact, but should fit large graphic cards
  • Very quiet operation
  • Anti-vibration design for hard drives
  • Easily removable side panels
  • Build quality of the case itself could be better
  • Paint job quite thin, prone to scratches
  • Limited space within the case
  • Cable mess almost unavoidable
  • Place for two additional fans, none included
  • Fancy display unit, very limited functionality
  • Fan guard of 400 mm fan not very solid
The Aerocool Hi-Tech 7 Pro is an interesting case, that is certain. The large 400 mm fan is a very unique aspect and pushes the envelope even further. While we have seen great applications of smaller cooling devices within a chassis, the 400 mm fan does the job perfectly. It pushes insane amounts of air and cools the entire interior of the PC, so additional fans are no longer mandatory. Nonetheless, it would have been nice to see at least one in the front of the case. The display unit, which acts as a fan controller and thermal monitor certainly looks nice from a distance and also does get the job done. However, it lacks functionality. A much smaller unit, with no fancy colors would also get the job done just as well. Aerocool has chosen to go with a traditional interior layout, to save cost and to offer the chassis with the two afore mentioned features at a competitive price point. If you are looking for an affordable case with excellent cooling and nice overall looks, feel free to grab the Aerocool Hi-Tech 7 Pro.
