Packaging and Accessories
Clearly, packaging is still in the works with my sample coming in a plain white cardboard box without an aesthetic wrap. A double flap in the middle keeps contents inside in place during transit, and opening the box, we see the keyboard inside a see-through soft foam wrap for further protection. All paperwork is found underneath the keyboard, and the accessories have been put into a compartment separated by more cardboard to ensure the keyboard does not get scratched.
This pre-release sample did not come with a manual either; however, the base functionality of the K620T 2.0 is so similar to the original K620T that the
manual for the Ajazz K620T can be used to get a better idea of the onboard functionality, setting up the keyboard in Bluetooth mode, and changing a few things, such as the RGB lighting effects. What I did get here, as my sample was the pink version, is a matching pink USB cable. The cable goes from a USB Type-A connector to an L-shaped USB Type-C connector, which points towards the use of Type-C connectivity on the side of the keyboard and is great for cable management. We also get a basic plastic ring-style keycap puller, which I would like to see replaced by a metal wire puller to minimize the odds of keycaps getting scratched, and I believe the final retail units will also include a switch remover.
