Alphacool is one of the premier brands in custom water-cooling, with the company having a long history of providing PC enthusiasts top-tier components and cooling solutions. Their robust portfolio includes radiators, fans, fittings, pumps, reservoirs, CPU blocks, GPU blocks, and all-in-one solutions. But, more importantly, they are also one of the few companies that offer expandable all-copper all-in-one liquid coolers. While that may not be important to some, in a market crowded with mixed-metal all-in-one solutions, Alphacool stands out precisely for this reason.
In today's review, I focus on the Eisbaer Aurora 360 HPE. This standard-sized 360 mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler differs from the majority of its competition via a copper radiator, much like its sibling, the Aurora 360. What sets it apart is the use of a new radiator design that has more coolant channels, which increases water throughput and offers better heat transfer efficiency. Add the high-performance fans and you have the making of what could be a stellar all-in-one liquid cooler, at least on paper. However, even with such improvements, top-tier performance isn't always guaranteed, so let's take a closer look at what the Aurora 360 HPE has to offer.
