Everest Ultimate
Everest is great for quick diagnostic of computer components and for checking some of the CPU's basic synthetic performance, as well as memory bandwidth and latency. Everest Ultimate version 5.02 is used to check the Memory Read/Write/Copy/Latency performance.
You can see from the results that the lack of L3 cache in Athlon II actually increases bandwidth and improves latency, as CPU cores don’t have to go through the big L3 cache before accessing the system memory. Of course, these results do not represent the impact this has on real life application performance.
