Cypress looks a lot like its grandfather, the "R600" Radeon HD 2900 Series. The die is oriented "diamond-shape" on the package. Measuring 338 mm², the die can be considered "huge" for the 40 nm process. It houses 2.15 billion transistors, almost three times that of the R600.
