BonkEncoder

BonkEncoder is a small end free audio encoder with a wide range of supported audio formats. For this test we encode high quality .flac files into MP3 format via LAME codec.
Despite achieving 100% load on all cores while encoding, the benchmark prefers higher clocked CPUs. Showing off in single threaded tests, Sempron 140 takes on Phenom II X3 710 in terms of performance.

I'm Too Audio Encoder

I’m Too Audio Encoder is representing commercial versions of audio encoders. It’s easy to use, with broad audio format support, and for this test it is used to encode an audio CD to high quality MP3. As source we use the CD's disc image which is mounted as a virtual drive.
